Lilly’s Greenville — Restaurant in San Antonio

I’ve heard great things about the St. Paul Square area but only set out to visit last night. I was curious about Lilly’s Greenville so we thought to check it out for a drink before dinner at Toro.

Both indoor and outdoor spaces are roomy. I had called ahead of time because I wasn’t sure if they had resumed after pausing for the pandemic. Found out that the happy hour times had changed to 9pm to midnight instead of 4pm to 8pm. But it is an all-day happy hour on Tuesdays.

I tried the Lilly’s Martini and my husband tried the Prince-ipalities and we both enjoyed our drinks in the shade outdoors. Because they don’t serve food, I can understand why the drinks were on the pricier side.

Came out early on a Saturday evening and there was only another couple at the bar. Our party of 4 enjoyed some wine, Irish whiskey and Moscow mules. The bartender was friendly and the atmosphere in this place is great. They have a nice patio area to enjoy in the back, big bar area and some booths around the place. Im looking forward to when St Paul’s square has every storefront occupied and open again. It’s my favorite strip in San Antonio. But until then we have Lilly’s Greenville to hold us over. This bar is enchanting and well executed and simply stunning to look at. Their signature cocktails are what you’d expect from such a bar. Innovative, familiar, tasty!
