I enjoy going to this Brandy Melville location, but when I went this Tuesday, I was having a perfectly fine time. I ended up finding this very cute rare sweater on the last chance rack. I’ve never seen it and knew it is very uncommon to find. I go to the fitting room to try on it and a couple of other items. I only took the sweater and was dead set on purchasing it. The same girl from the fitting room finds me in the store when I about to buy it when she stopped me. She said that the sweater was actually on hold and she just took it from me. I was very confused and wanted to say something, but I just didn’t. Why would the sweater be “on hold” if it was on the last chance rack? Next thing I know, she takes it back to the fitting room and just keeps it there. I was very appalled because she came up to me, very loudly, didn’t look at me when she was talking, and just grabbed the sweater. There is a possibility that it could’ve been on hold, but that same sweater was on the LAST CHANCE RACK for about an hour, the entire time I was there and multiple people touched it and could easily just grab it and buy it. It just seemed weird about how the sweater was on the last chance rack, but apparently was on hold? I’ve asked at that location before if they can hold items for me and they said that they can’t do that. Even if an item was on hold, why would you put it out on the floor for everyone to touch it, look at it, and try it on? This experience just...
Read moreI’m from North Carolina and have never heard of or been to a Brandy Melville before. Once my girlfriend found out I was going to San Diego to be with my family for Christmas though, I couldn’t stop hearing about it XD. I took time out of my schedule to drive down to PB and see what kind of outfit I could pick out for her. The selection was nice, but as is the problem with most people leaving reviews on this brand, I had no idea where to start, considering the majority of their selection is “one size fits most”, so I ended up turning to an employee for help. I wish I would’ve gotten her name because she was extremely helpful with the sizing issue pointing out that some of the items are a bit bigger on the waist than others. Not only that, but she helped me pick out items that are more exclusive to the brand (i.e. plaid pants instead of blue jeans which you can buy pretty much anywhere) and items that are more popular in the store. All these things were a HUGE help considering I live hundreds of miles from the closest brandy store and I only had more or less one shot to pick out a good Christmas gift. If you’re reading this, thank you girlie :-) I hope you’re able to take credit for this if your boss reads it and you get a raise...
Read morewould put zero stars if i could. had the absolute most rude employee experience ever here. when i was paying, i asked if they took cash. she said yes and finished ringing up my items. i stand there waiting for her to tell me the total so i can give her my cash, since the total did not show on any screen. she remains silent, all while giving my friend a dirty look. finally, after waiting in silence i ask what the total is. she quietly says, and i hand her exact change. she looks at it and says oh its actually _. so i give her what she says and she finally rings it up and gives me change with my receipt. i then wait for her to give me my items. again, we are just kind of standing in an awkward silence. i finally ask for my items and she looks at me confused. "the items i just paid for, can i have them?" i say. she says oh i didn't give them to you? no. she did not. she finally throws them in a bag, dropping them on the ground in the process, and shoves the bag across the counter with the absolute dirtiest look while saying "here" angrily. i have never experienced worse customer service in my life, at brandy or otherwise. super disappointing, would not recommend this particular...
