Initially I obtained the hydrofacial and Dermaplaning special. During my spa visit I added radiofrequency. I want to address the young lady whom helped me was wonderful. This review is for the service. I assumed a robe would be worn to add to the spa like experience but that wasn't the case. Im unsure if hydrofacial included cleaning of the face of pimples etc I noticed it was minimal and felt rushed, unlike my experience at other locations. The Dermaplaning experience was mid as I still have peach fuzz. I had mentioned I had done radiofrequency at another location prior was unsure if this was offered at your location. The young lady mentioned it was offered at an additional cost which I added. When it came to the radiofrequency treatment portion of the facial. I noticed it was not at all what I assumed was done prior. I didnt want to cancel since the young lady had begun the work, out of respect I just let her continue. At the end I was given a facial razor, which I left. Apparently this was given for incase missed spots as mentioned by the young lady. Which I was taken a back as my thought process was I paid for you to get rid of the peach fuzz. This was my Birthday facial to myself by the way, unfortunately it was mid not what I expected, unlike other places I've gone. I recently moved to SD for a new job and did some research to try to find a place for a good facial. Based on the positive reviews I chose Rose + Honey, and the experience lived up to the hype! Stephanie did my facial and it was glorious. The warm steam, the products that smelled great, her technique, and the flow of the facial were all excellent. It was one of the best facials I’ve had. Additionally, Stephanie was personable, and down to earth, and she is hilarious! She really knows her craft; after the facial my skin was hydrated, dewy, and looked and felt refreshed. I have gotten three chemical peels at Honey + Rose and they have been life changing! I’ve been dealing with acne most of my life which has left me with acne scars and nothing I did worked! Going into my first appointment with Monroe I was so nervous because I had a terrible experience with facials before but Monroe was super sweet and explained everything she was going. I was so happy with my results after the first one that I went back for a second and a third and I’m so happy I did!!! My redness and scarring have gotten so much better and for the first time in years I don’t mind taking pictures! I cannot say enough good things about Monroe! She did such a wonderful job communicating with me and always making me feel at ease! She also did a great job at educating me on every choice I had to make sure I made the correct one for me.
