I sent something to be printed at this FedEx location at 6am this morning. Immediately upon pressing purchase, I realized I made a mistake in the document and called the FedEx number that was given if you needed to make a change. I was informed that it was too early to make a change, and that I needed to call back at 8am. I called back at 8:01am, and was informed that it was now too late to make a change to the document as it had already been printed. So I go ahead and pay another $32.59 to have the document printed again. When I arrived at the location I asked very politely if there was anything they could do about this situation. Two young employees, one with gauges in his ears (I did not catch their names), were extremely kind and were trying to see if there was anything they could do about the mistake. In the middle of problem solving, an older gentleman, I assume a manager, came out from the back and said there wasn't anything they could do about it as it had already been printed. As this conversation was happening, I noticed their receipts for both transactions said $43.10 and not $32.59 as my confirmation email states. The manager informed me that he wasn't sure why it was different. That I needed to go home and check my credit card statement, and if there was a discrepancy I could come back to have it changed. The older gentleman was quite rude and had no empathy for my situation. Especially since the papers I paid for were flyers for a pet of ours that is missing. I would like to thank the other two employees who were working and who at least made me feel like they were sorry for the error that transpired today. If someone was promoted to a level of being a manager, I wish they at least had a bit more professionalism when dealing with...
Read morePlenty of other FedEx locations close by. Go to the one in PB. They are great! Avoid this one. Management is unwilling to stand by their print quality and will try to charge you for reprints. They don’t confirm print quality with you before printing and will push extra costs to you. I submitted an online print order for a canvas print. When I showed up on time they couldn’t find the order, and started working on it at that moment. They did not do a test print while I was there and told me I would need to wait for a half hour. When it was done it was pixelated, and I of course asked if it could be reprinted, also questioning why they went ahead and printed and mounted it. After talking with the manager, they told me I would need to wait until the next day and they would charge me as if it was a new order. He talked to me as if I was crazy for expecting anything different. After going to another FedEx location they were blown away that this location would not reprint and tried to charge me for a new order. The other location then gave me a full refund and offered to reprint my order, even though they didn’t do the original print. Don’t fall prey to the cheap, unethical business practices of management at...
Read moreDue to the Covid situation there are many stickers on the floor (pointing in different orientations) and there is a “print“ counter and the “shipping” counter inside. So I asked a fellow customer who was almost standing near the entrance/print counter which line he was in, and got a rude snarky response from one of the employees in a plaid shirt who acted like he was the manager who responded “I only have one line”. I felt like punching him in the face, because there are nicer ways in which to respond. And hey...if I was going to print something, I definitely wouldn’t be facing the shipping counter.
Btw Fed Ex...If there’s only one line for everything, then put up a single line formation, not a ton of...
