This is my second horrible experience here at the sports arena location. The manager that works here needs more training! My husband and I spent almost $100 and received terrible service. We ordered cheesy bread with our bread and never received them. My husband went and asked what was talking so long when we were half way done with our pizza and were told they'll look into it. Nobody came. An employee came to bring our cookie dessert and still no cheesy bread. Nobody knew the status on our order and nobody brought it out to us. All I wanted was a refund for something I paid for yet never received. So as my kids were deciding on what prizes they wanted I went and asked about the refund. The cashier knew I was the one who needed the refund before I went up and told us he needed the "manager". I had to wait so she can finish up small talk in the back about non work gibberish. Now if I was the manager and more than one worker knew about the situation i would think she would walk over to us and apologize and explain why we never got our order. I watched her look at the screen and look confused as if she couldn't figure out what to do. I grew very impatient as to why it was taking so long when the cashier already pulled up my order. $5.99. That's what i wanted back. Somehow that was too much for her to figure out. My husband and kids waiting for me grew impatient. I was discussing to my husband how incompetent she was. The manager in interrupted me telling me how I can't be talking to my husband. I wasn't raising my voice nor were there children near. Then she told me to be patient. When i was patient enough to wait over 40min for my order. I asked for my refund again. She told me she's working on it. C'mon you don't have to have a college degree to figure out how much the cost, open the register and return my money. She then threatened my with security! Very unprofessional. I asked for her manager. She said she was the manager. It wasn't till i said there is someone above you so I'd like to speak with them. One minute later I got my money. Hmm. Was it really that hard. You'd rather upset a customer who is giving you business than please them for your mess up. If she was doing her job she would make sure orders are carried out in a timely fashion and own up to the mistakes. Instead you treat a paying customer with attitude and threatening them. Please someone in management check up on the place and talk to this " manager" who acts like she's just there for a paycheck. Its a shame cause my 3 and 12 year old really like the place. The food is good. Service needs major...
Read moreI’m sad to say that after a really great and helpful phone call with customer service planning my last minute party, it all went very sour the day of my daughters party 8-11-19. Upon arriving, as I did per the “arrive 15 minutes early” rule, my daughters name was nowhere to be found on any of the reserved tables, when somebody finally helped me, they had said that the table was being cleaned. After that, they seemed bothered by the fact that I had to update the number of guests since some were not able to make it anymore. I understand that they had to set up for the number of guests that I had originally stated, but I can not control that things in life come up, and they should not have acted so bothered by this. I appreciate that our party host was remaining calm, but you can see the obvious look in her eyes that she was annoyed by my party. I believe her name was Jessica. She also never brought out any plates nor cups along with the food or drinks when she brought those out. My mother had to keep requesting those. Some of my guests were eating on napkins!!! When the party beside us had plates and cups with the Chuck E. Cheese design on them so I know for a fact that those were given to them in a polite manner. Also, when my mother went to the salad bar, her change was received on top of a plate, and when she had asked for a new plate, since they had placed here dirty money on it, they even seemed annoyed by that. All staff at this location , even the ones working the prize counter seemed like they didn’t want to be there. Upon leaving, since my daughter arrived with her friends, her safety stamp did not match ours, and would let her leave with her own parents. I understand this as well, safety concerns. Ok. But I offered you legal documents such as a birth certificate with both parents Present and they chose to see a picture from my phone that I had with my own kids instead. Really?? A photo? That is your way of verifying this type of thing? Do you know how many folks have photos with my kids, any one of my party guests could have left with her. I will not recommend this location, and will...
Read moreI absolutely will NEVER come back! I drove from U.C. and picked up my friend & her kiddos to come to Chuck E Cheese! She said D&B's but, i said let's check out this 30 minute all you can play special! Horrible idea on my part! LOL. First off, the $9.99 on tv commercial fails to say it's only good for 30 minutes & can be re-done there after... okay, we said let's do 30 minutes per kid & go from there... well, every other game we played was broken & or out of tickets. That stinks but what really stinks is each time a machine is broken or out of tickets then you are now wasting those 30 minutes & have to wait for someone to come then fix it then you can move on. You can run & freeze your card but, we where literally wasting all the time between pausing the time getting all the cards & kid's back together then going on every other second (a huge pain in the you know what) some of the game's they fixed then broke again & again you have to grab all the kiddos & cards then back to the other side of the place to pause them! ughhh... by this time everyone needs a bathroom break! This too was horrific!!! Bathrooms where disgusting. Nothing was clean, only 1 bathroom stall worked, others where clogged with you really don't want to know, the trash was gross & over flowing, bathroom floor was wet don't want to know why! and the counters where awful! After that we played a few more games & it was time to feed tickets in the machine's. And yes, this to was just bad! All machine's where either broken or where breaking as we where adding in our tickets! One machine counted down the tickets rather then up & if I didn't notice the kiddos would of later! The worker said that machine has been doing that a lot- REALLy!?!?! WTH! Since machine's where broken and we waited every few times for people to fix it several times inbetween I was soOoOoo tired, mad, & just done! All My friend & I could do is look at each other & just laugh! It was soOooOoo bad that my daughter & the other kiddos even said what a headache - needless to say, this trip absolutely stunk! Don't waste your...
