This is the most racist store in Fashion Valley. I waited to visit Free People on four separate occasions to write this review⊠thinking maybe it was just that one person or just giving them the benefit of the doubt.
I literally watched the employees say âHello, how are you?â To each Caucasian person who walked in. However, when I walked in with my daughter on each of the four times, no one said anything.
When I asked questions each employee was super rude and just acted like they didnât want us in thereâwhich was so hurtful because the clothes were beautiful but the way we were treated just made me want to run out of there!!
For comparison purposes, the store next door, Francescaâs, had incredible hospitality. They made us feel so welcome and valued.
Free People is the kind of store you visit if you want to feel worthless and unappreciated. The employees literally look at you like youâre an unleashed animal unless youâre Caucasian.
I am Never EVER stepping foot inside that store again. Youâve been warned!!! So sad a store like this exists in such a vibrant Hispanic...
Read moreThe store is beautiful and has unique and quality clothing. I have been in this store every few months for about five years to check out the new items, try things on, and get styling ideas from the displays. Mostly I come on a weekday when the store is basically empty. When I come in, I'm usually not greeted, which is only conspicuous when someone else comes in and is greeted cheerfully by both employees. I don't think they're being nasty, it feels like they genuinely don't even 'see' me. When I browse, I'm not offered help unless I'm carrying several items already...often not even then, and my two most recent visits I actually just helped myself to the dressing room because no employee had even made eye contact. I usually don't buy much in-store even though I often splurge online, and that's because I walk away from this store feeling invisible and like I didn't belong in there. No matter how gorgeous a $300 dress is, if you buy it while you feel invisible, you'll never feel anything but invisible when...
Read moreItâs absolutely the worst shopping experience in my life. I bought more than 10 cloths here, actually 8 of them the clerk didnât remove the security tags. This was a major mistake on their part, and when I called back and asked if I could send it in for removal, they said they didn't offer that and I had to go back to the store. The problem is that I just traveled to buy clothes from this store, I am now home and I am 80 miles from the nearest store, and the manager in this store insist that I only go back to the store, otherwise there is nothing they can do. I can't understand this bad service. I will not patronize this store again, I hope everyone can see this...
