HotShots Brewery Tours — Local services in San Diego

We booked HotShots Brewery Tours for my sisters bachelorette party and had an amazing time!! I would definitely recommend them to anyone planning a group brewery tour for any reason!! Donna was incredibly easy to work with. She tailored our brewery choices to some different restrictions of our group (gluten free for some girls), and put together the perfect combo of places. We ended up with the sprinter van instead of the fire truck because we had a smaller group, and it was way nicer than expected!! It was like a luxury limo inside and fully stocked with beverages, speakers, etc. We loved being in the van lol. The most unexpected part of the tour was how great Donna was! This is the only limousine company in the country that uses a fire truck! I just went to San Diego with several friends, and we met up with two of the three guys who started Hot Shots. They were knowledgeable about the San Diego craft brewery scene (one is a level 1 beer sommelier, called a cicerone) and had good recommendations for the three breweries we visited - Stone, Ballast Point, and Mission. I would highly recommend booking these guys for a brewery tour. It was fun driving around the city and seeing people with their mouths open trying to figure out why a bunch of people were dancing and singing in a fire truck!

Pro tip: Try to book only two breweries for a tour, maybe? We went to three in about four hours, and it was brutal. However, maybe I'm more of a lightweight...

We had an fantastic time; as a 24 person bachelor party, we were a bit worried how we'd get a brewery tour in the area with a bigger group. Donna did a great job setting us up with beers on the bus, a 3 brewery tour, and made it even better to help schedule dinner to be delivered at the last brewery. Canyon was an awesome guide, making sure everyone was filled up, saw the coolest parts of all the breweries, and hung out and took pictures for us and kept everyone happy as with a lot of different tastes everyone was able to have drinks they enjoyed (even if not beer drinkers). Highly recommend this place we'd do it again in a heartbeat and as far as price goes with everything that was included it was far lower and versatile than other vendors....
