I was informed that I needed to bring the items I had purchased in order to receive the free bracelet, even after I offered to show my receipts and emails. When I returned with the items, they told me I would need to pay extra. This could have been avoided if they had checked my receipts and communicated their policy beforehand, preventing the hassle of a return trip on my birthday, which definitely ruined my day. My expectations were not met, and the manager unfairly placed the blame on me.
