I rarely leave poor reviews and feel awful doing so, but there were too many things in the experience to ignore.

I went in with a partner to be pierced by Janelle (unsure of spelling). We waited about 20 minutes when both of us had appts (and people came in behind us which I heard one left - he also had an appt). While waiting, my counterpart asked if tattoo shops were always kind of rude (as I think the greeter was short and made it seem a little like a favor was being done as opposed to us being paying customers). I laughed it off and said they were busy and I don’t even mind the vibe of shops since I’m pretty covered, I enjoy the culture lol.

While the piercer was kind and personable, the experience with that portion is my true issue. I went up first, getting an Ashley piercing. My first issue was she went through the completely wrong spot first so I’ve had 2 holes to heal in my lip, after very much struggling to find the center of my lip. The second and most alarming was the bar she chose was too short and had almost literally no backing. Within days it was sucking into my lip through the back no matter what I did. I had to go to a piercing shop and purchase a completely new bar (since I was visiting and unable to try to go back into the shop), yank out a new piercing and shove something else in it. Luckily, I’m not a child so I know how to care for piercings and sanitized everything well so hopefully it will be fine, but it was quite unpleasant and almost impossible to grab since it was completely sucked in. When my partner was pierced on his nose, I was the one that placed it. Where she was originally was going to put it was so far forward it would have been almost nothing pierced.

I’m not sure if it’s all just a one off, a bad day...or Covid stress and pressure. And again, she was very kind and we both left good tips because I firmly believe in doing so, but I can’t say the experience was a pleasant one and felt compelled to share since mine was one that if inexperienced in piercings could be bad for someone and they could end up getting something cut and extracted...

Always wanted a Daith piercing so on a whim I made an appointment with Jannel whome I was told was there resedent piercer that specializes in cartilage piercings. And more specifically, the Daith piercing because of the nessisary experience and skill set needed to perform this very delicate and difficult peircing. After arriving, I was not made to wait more than five min before Jannel introduced herself and asked what kind of jewelry I was after to compliment my ears. I picked a style and was asked to follow Jannel to this cozy room with a bed out of a doctor's office. Very nice, relaxing and professional environment. Well there was some discomfort, I would be lieing if I said it didn't hurt at all but she did an excellent job. Made my piercing experience a delight and am now considering get a few more when these heal all the way. On a side note, during my slumber I somehow scratched my ear and accidently pulled the piercing out of one my ear. I called and she told me to come back in so she could fix the problem. I waited two days before I could make it back in cuz our schedules conflicted each other. But after finally making it back in she took a look and unfortunetly She did end up having to peirce my ear again as the hole did end up closing up becuase it hadn't healed all the way before taking it out, and she didn't even charge me at all. She did recommend swapping my jewelry out for a simpler design with a tighter clasp during the healing process which once again didn't even charge me for that either. I honestly cannot praise Superfly enough!

Dominic’s skills are insane! Communication, collaboration, vision, technique, all ON POINT! I’ve had my tattoo for 3 months and cannot go one day without being complimented on it. Absolute work of art. I will never tire of looking at my forearm koi/Japanese masterpiece.

And as for piercing, you will not find someone who is better than Jannel. I took my young daughter in to get her ears pierced for the first time. She has wanted this for over a year, but was terrified. Jannel was patient, caring, understanding and absolutely LISTENED to everything my daughter was saying. Quick shoutout to the receptionist, Ciara, who even got another piercing to show my daughter how easy it was. After over an hour (Jannel is a saint!), my daughter finally agreed to do it. My daughter barely felt a thing and couldn’t believe she had been so scared. She even kept hugging Jannel for being so good to her. She is sooooo happy and doesn’t even feel it today, the very next day!

Everyone in this place is incredible… extremely personable and unbelievably talented. I suggest you stop reading the reviews and give these guys a call. My personal star rating for them is off...
