Happened to stop into this café today while I was downtown for errands.

Too often I find myself grabbing a cup of coffee in a sterile, unfriendly environment designed to force me out quickly—the new aesthetic trend in craft coffee…

But finally!! A breath of fresh air! Goldchild excels in creating a welcoming, comfortable environment. Plenty of seating, well-decorated, good music bumping, and an energetic team that’s happy to serve good coffee. The menu is also refreshing—delicately balanced speciality lattes and a solid set of options for pourovers. I had the Morning in Stockholm today and it was one of the best lattes I’ve had anywhere this year.

And it’s only been open for 49 days! Excited to see how this shop grows—can’t wait to grab a cup whenever...
