Usually a 10/10 experience!
Today there was an assistant coordinator/manager carrying a roll of tape back and forth and sorting nonsense clips while watching the cashiers hustle and struggle to keep up with a long line. They kept looking at her and looking around wondering why she wouldn’t help. She just smiled and acted busy doing zilch.
Teresa was her name. 7:05pm 12/30/2024 the line went all the way out and around to the clothing…. Super long. It was painfully obvious she was doing nonsense work solely to not ring people up until the main manager told her to around 7:30pm, I had moved up approximately 3 places in line at the time. End of year, lots of shoppers.
I voiced my opinion on her lack of consideration for her coworkers (who all did amazing except Teresa) and her response was “Well, okay. That’s all we had available at the time.” While smiling condescendingly and guiltily. Which was a blatant lie that the cameras would easily disprove. She was there hovering doing completing nothing of substance…. The entire time! She saw the line get bad and saw everyone staring at her and she moved tape up and down the counter a few times and hung up some hangars…..
Only got on a register because the real boss got off break and came out from the back and immediately said to get on a register.
I don’t leave reviews and I don’t voice my opinion unless people go above and beyond to make others lives harder. The cashiers were still nice to her and smiled at her, they did amazing! She handled that situation in the most poor manner humanly possible. I’d leave 0...

The mens section has gotten way smaller since my last visit. Seriously 4 racks. Not the biggest issue...the issue is this: I got in line at 5:49 pm on July 12, 2025. There is only 2 attendants checking out the 35 ppl ahead of me. We'll technically, 3-attendants, but the one attendant keeps disappearing and reappearing every 5 min or so. I almost left my items behind. But hey I have no where to be, presumed by the ineffectiveness of the TJ Maxx team. So I decided to wait and line and see how long this would take. At 6:05 pm another 2 cashiers came to offer reprieve. The line finally has started to move. I checked out at 6:17pm. Seriously, they are losing money at the door. I observed at least 6 people view the line and leave. And just an FYI, my purchase of $20 for almost a half hour wait. They are losing so much money here. Ever hear of the term, "turn and burn?"
Aditionally, if any member of management takes a moment to read this, there needs to be a sign that states something along the lines of, "Don't enter the line until ready to purchase" . Seriously, not only here but other value stores. Its common practice to have one person wait in line and send a representative of their family to shop. This is essentially cutting the line. Then they roll buy with like 50 items. This makes the line even longer.
I will not be back to this location.

Read moreI honestly used to really enjoy this place but today I didn’t have a great experience. After checkout as my girlfriend and I were heading towards the exit we had a employee rudely come up to us somewhat nice but somewhat demanding of how she wanted the shopping cart before we left the store. However, we had items in the cart and felt forced to have to grab the items and walk to the car when we are paying money at this location for their customer service to be that low. It was quite shocking and have never had been asked like that or even approached in such a way. I understand you guys didn’t have shopping carts due to how many customers were in the store and coming in and out but that is not the way to do it. Guess what. No one went out of there way hounding someone for a shopping cart just to fill the void for me. I went out of my way to the parking lot and found my own shopping cart and walked back in the store to meet up with my girlfriend. Now , how is that fair ?
