Made a purchase of 3 white hairsprays, was not notified that they have a no return policy, came back in LESS THAN TWO HOURS LATER to return them because my friend notified me she already bought a bunch. The guy at the front desk refused to let me return them, and refused to make an exception. Said he was the owner but then kept saying “we’re not allowed to” make returns. Who’s we?? You’re the owner?? Now I wasted $16 that could have been my groceries for the week. I came back in literally less than 2 hours after I bought the items and they were completely unused/unopened. THIS STORE IS A SCAM the exact same hairsprays are at Vons for HALF THE PRICE. They do not tell you or warn you that it’s all sales final save for a tiny sign on the other side of the register which I did not see and was not pointed to when I made my purchase. They do not give you a receipt either. I’m incredibly infuriated that I could not return these useless things that I can’t even resell even though I came back in less than two hours after I made the original purchase. The owner looked incredibly satisfied after scamming me of my money too, had the nerve to tell me he was poor too when he owns a whole business in La Jolla. I would not recommend shopping here, I should have gone to party city where they do returns. Guy’s an asshole preying on young college students already...

The girl in fitting room in terrible . She is not nice , she is not friendly and no polite . It was 3 of us together stand in one line to fitting room. And she told our 3rd person to stand in line again one more time ! My daughter is finished with fitting, I'm not yet. That girl who works there pushed me away from fitting room! and called another person into the fitting room. I asked to call the manager. One man came and asked that girl who works there maybe she wants to rest. And another person came too and said that they would ask me to leave!? Seriously ? They invited one family to stand in two lines to try on suits for which we would pay them. Our third person no longer wanted to try on and buy anything. Complete disrespect for the client. There is not a single day for returns or exchanges before the Halloween . I will never come back here again. If I could I would give zero stars. Only one woman was nice, at the checkout. My one...

What a wonderful store! Bought costumes for our daughters and my kids surprised me with a Gilligan's Island costume. Loved it but only one problem. Not sure why, but it had Sharpie all over one of the sleeves. Major bummer as "All Sales are Final." Not sure how this can be handled as it arrived damaged. If it didn't have the damage, would have been 5 stars.

UPDATE: I was contacted by the manager and they replaced the shirt with a new one. What fantastic unexpected customer service - especially for an industry where all sales are final. So pleased - changed from a four star...
