I had to capture this moment on my day off...complete and utter relaxation at the hands of the most incredible aesthetician I’ve ever met in the most beautiful and professional local spa 🧖‍♀️. I walked in the doors at Vasseur Skin Clinic and Spa a ball of nerves. The move checklist this week coupled with my work schedule and having the kids home for spring break has had me tossing and turning at night and foregoing my “me time” (aka my workouts) in lieu of getting all.the.things done. So when this facial I booked a month ago popped up on my calendar, I almost thought “I can’t fit this in!”. But instead, I took the time to finally prioritize ME and went to see Kim for a facial...and boy am I glad I did! I wish I’d found Vasseur 5 years ago. Not only did I get the most incredible facial of my life there, I also walked out feeling more relaxed than I’ve felt in months and so appreciative of the staff there for helping me really soak in this time away from the daily grind and responsibilities us Mamas have such a hard time leaving behind. #Vasseur is the sweetest little oasis and I can’t recommend it highly enough! Where to begin? Vasseur Day Spa/Acne Clinic is life changing!! I came across Vasseur products before coming across the spa. I suffered from cystic acne for 10+ years and once again I was on a breakout cycle. Tired of antibiotics, 2 rounds of accutance, and Rx topical products, I began a late night google search on healthy products for the skin. One thing led to another and based on great reviews I looked into the products and read about why the owner decided to create this line. Her story is quiet similar to mine and I got excited when I came across Vasseur Acne Clinic. I decided to make the call and booked my appt! I fell in love with this place that I know routinely visit once a month despite a four hour commute. This is no cookie cutter solution! The staff is determine to meet your needs and tailor treatments based on those needs. The staff makes it their priority for clients to get results. With that said, clients also need to put in the work! Perhaps change eating habits, sleeping habits, etc. Every recommendation is worth a try. If you are like me, thinking that you will forever live/suffer from acne, don't hesitate to book an appointment. You have nothing to loose but great skin to gain! I made an appointment for a facial on Saturday at 11am. After they sent me, no joke, 5 texts requesting I confirm the appointment, and after taking my credit card information to secure the appointment and charge me $50 if I late cancelled, they texted me at 7pm the night before saying the therapist “woke up sick this morning and can’t come in tomorrow, we will let you know when she is back to reschedule your appointment.” This would have been my first visit there, as they can clearly see, and I don’t really care which therapist I had. They could have at least called me to reschedule. Second, they messaged me at 7pm, probably a good 10 hours after Heather woke up “sick” and could have contacted me outside of their 24 hour no cancellation window. I asked for $50 for their late, rude cancellation and sent a screen shot of their own cancellation policy, and a reminder text, and called Saturday morning, and they flat refused to even text or call me back. Don’t think that you’ll actually have an appointment here if you make an appointment and give them your credit card information!
