I am seriously appalled at the girl who was to be working the photo counter as well as the manager. These two girls were chit chatting by cosmetics the entire time I was there to pick up 2 OTC vitamins. When I saw an older gentleman come to the photo counter to pick up his order, he called out, "Hello-hello" several times. Then asked, "Is anyone here?" And the girl with the long hair pulled back in a ponytail raised her voice loud enough so that I could hear her down at the vitamins, "HOLD ON!"
Then, he began to apologize and said sorry, I just didn't see anyone. He said he was there to pick up his order, and she said "Name?" I guess the gentleman did not hear her because he was walking back to the photo counter, so she raised her voice again, "NAME!?" By this time, I was making my way up to the counter to pay for my order and that is when I saw the girl, with her name tag turned and was yelling "NAME!?"
I cannot believe what I witnessed. I am seriously disappointed that this occurred. This was unprofessional and disgusting. Who did she think she was talking to? Her mom at home and she's 15? No, absolutely not. She is a grown adult who should have respect, tact and basic customer service skills. This was not ok. So, I paid, got in the car and called in to speak to the manager. It turns out, she was the other girl that was chit chatting with the ponytail girl by cosmetics the whole time! Her response to what I informed her about? - "Well, actually, I didn't see it, so..."
Are you kidding me? I cannot believe this. I remember when they built this Walgreens and have always been a loyal customer there. throughout the years, I have moved from San Dimas to Glendora and still drive to the San Dimas Walgreens instead of the Glendora location that is actually closer to me. I have seen the San Dimas location go downhill for years. In cleanliness and customer service. Upper management needs to look into this and really make some changes. This is horrible and I have had enough. So truly disappointed. I hope someone contacts me about this, it was sad and...
Read moreTwo years ago, I would have given this Walgreens branch 5+ stars. Not so any longer. I don't know who is giving them five-star reviews recently, but I seriously don't see how you can give them a good review. The staff is friendly, and they seem to always be busy, but there is something seriously wrong with this branch. The wait times have grown exponentially longer (Covid, I get it), but unnecessarily so. They use to be so friendly and efficient. Rosemary in the Pharmacy knew my name and had my prescription ready in minutes. Now, the line in the drive through is always four or five cars deep, and the wait time inside is long as well, even when no one else in line. When I spoke to a District Manager, he said they had bought out the CVS contracts from a store that closed across the street. Here's a thought - how about you hire some additional staff to cover to the extra prescriptions? Additionally, they have made mistakes on both my wife's and my prescriptions which is dangerous. So disappointed, both with this branch and with those who give this branch a good review. Makes me question the authenticity of the review who claims "fast, friendly service." I want to ask, what branch are you going to? Because it's...
Read moreZero stars. Zero. They would not give me the prescription from my ER because they already did “inventory” of their controlled substances. This was at 5 pm. Just now well I was there an hour. But yes I got there at 5 and was told by Nadine? The technician that I could just go to another Walgreens and get my prescription from the system. Okay fine. It was a lie. The pharmacist had no idea why their inventory would affect my prescription. She said to ask for a pharmacist and they would fill it. She couldn’t transfer the prescription because it was not a refill but an original prescription. Okay so we returned. The pharmacist Lisa insisted that she didn’t know what the Covina Walgreens pharmacist was talking about and could absolutely not fill it today because their inventory had already been sent to the company. What? Then she said she could fill it if my ER dr. Approved. I said call him. She did and oh my gosh wow it Was approved being that he sent it duh. So great news she actually Can fill it after all ! BUT NOT UNTIL TOMORROW. There was also a lady there crying for her sick daughter’s meds and they refused to...
