ARTISAN EYELASHES - Extensions Specialists — Local services in San Francisco

So perhaps because I am from Las Vegas, I just have a higher standard for eyelash extensions. I've been getting my eyelashes done for several years now. As you can imagine I've had many experiences with several different technicians. This set of lashes I got from artisan eyelashes 2 days ago, was the biggest waste of my money. I literally can't believe the poor quality for such a high dollar. Does San Francisco not believe in 6D lashes? Its partially my fault because my assistant researched salons and didn't know the differences with 3D or 6D lashes. So I don't all the way blame the salon because they literally tell you on their website that they are going to charge you an arm and a leg for very little work to be done to your eyelashes. This was undoubtedly the shortest appointment I've ever had for 2x - 3.5x the dollar amount and the least bit of lash volume. Or maybe I just shouldn't use salons with fancy locations? Who knows. I'm a newbie when it comes to Eyelash Extensions, and after coming to see Elle at Artisan I am completely hooked! I had heard through the San Francisco grape vine rave reviews and had to try it for myself. First off, Artisan Eyelashes is in a super convenient location right in Union Square by my work. I walked into the studio and was greeted by both friendly faces; Elle and Melissa. Elle got started on my lashes and was so gentle, I could've taken a nap! She was thorough and before I knew it she handed me a mirror to check them out. Viola! SO natural with just a flare of that extra sass I needed. I'm a San Francisco native, and love checking out the new hip spots in the city. Artisan Eyelashes definitely exceeded my expectations. Do yourself a favor, and go see Elle for some...

I recently came in for my first-ever eyelash extension, and my technician did a fantastic job, giving me the subtle eyeliner and cat-eye effects I wanted. The person I talked to on the phone (I believe Whitney?) was very kind and accommodating with scheduling.

My only qualm is that my technician was not super nice, something which rubbed me the wrong way given how much I was paying for the service (~$175). I absolutely had to use the bathroom near the end of the session, and she was very apparently annoyed I had interrupted her process. (My bodily needs are out of my control, I promise.)
