Heads up for travellers:

This google location page doesn't specify it, but when you go during the hours, you run a higher risk of not being able to go in than your average shop (as is the case with any volunteer run bookstore - aka all anarchist bookstores anywhere).

Unfortunately, the shop was closed when I went. I was there during their posted business hours but the sign on the door said that it's volunteer run and sometimes people dont show up.

As someone only in town for a few days, I had been looking forward to it the whole trip but didnt think to leave a buffer day in case it wasn't open the day I went. Writing this so hopefully it doesn't...

Coolest bookstore I have ever been to. It is volunteer-led, well priced books, supports local artists and opinions through zines and their work, great collection. The moment I exited I told my partner that this is truly a 'mind-expanding' space.

I don't write reviews generally but I did because I couldn't buy a lot of things I wanted to because I can't carry more weight, but if I lived here, I would volunteer...
