I can't say enough good things about this store and the people that run it. When I wanted something a little special for my girlfriend on Christmas, I called Ceiba. I'd shopped there before and had such a wonderful experience, that I thought they'd be able to help me out. Well, Anat walked me through the store on video, and remembering our style preferences, picked out a bunch of items she thought my girlfriend like in particular.
Then, when one of the items didn't fit well, she contacted the manufacturer, and arranged for me to exchange it, and was a pleasure to work with for the whole process.

My friend found some beautiful pieces for Burning Man here! Overall, the staff was very helpful in looking for different sizes. However, I found the woman there (owner?) to be a bit pushy. I understand that they want to make a sale, but I think that strategy can backfire. Read moreAbsolutely fantastic place. 5 & Diamond has been my go-to for burner/festival fashion, but Ceiba has about four or five times the sheer amount of men's clothing, plus (to my stylistic sensibility) far more interesting items and sometimes significantly better value.
Peter, the proprietor, is a spry older gentleman with a sharp eye and quick wit. I showed up a quarter hour until close, and he helped me find a hooded jacket that was just perfect, possibly more fitted to my body type than anything else I've put on...in about 4 minutes.
