Luxe Nails — Local services in San Francisco

I was in town for a holiday party at work. I wanted to squeeze in a mani/pedi during lunch near the office within walking distance. Luxe Nails was available, accessible, and high quality. Don’t be fooled by the meager space. They work miracles in that space. My nails were immaculate. The water temp was perfect. The water and salts were nice. The lime was a nice touch. The lotion massage felt good. When she applied the polish she checked it was the correct color I expected. When I said it was ok, but I really wanted a winter forest green. She quickly popped up and found another green for me that was perfect. I also shoes up in socks and boots and wanted a regular mani/pedi. She was careful to place an air dryer on my toes while she did my manicure and then she applied a little oil on my toes and Saran wrap before putting my socks and boots on for me to ensure my nails did not get messed up. My nails were perfect for my event. I hope I get back to this place again. I super appreciated...

The technician did nothing I asked her for. I asked her to put a tip on my big toe as I previously had and she argued, but she really didn’t have the material nor did she want to do it. She glued some tape on my chipped toe nail and called it a day. I asked her not to cut my nails short but did it anyway, even after I reminded her again not to. I just wanted to be out of there. They look hideous, they’re very short and my toe nail looks disgusting. I only like the color I chose. She also charged me 3$ for “fixing the toe” which God knows how she considered it fixed. She also reminded me to tip which I thought was brave but did it anyway because I know they rely on it. I hate the outcome and I would never step foot there again. Small yet ultra efficient nail salon in the heart of the Financial District :)

On a business trip and needed to fix my nails after a rough rock climbing session 😞 Found Luxe which is within 5 mins walk from my office. Yay!

Sneaked out during lunch break; in & out within 45 mins! Couldn't do the design I originally had in mind but Thanh (hope I didn't butcher her name) was super accommodating and suggested an alternative. 45 mins later my nails looked great again 😃
