I worked for Scion for about two and a half years and worked about a half dozen jobs in that time. I found that they were good at finding short term assignments that were able to turn into long term ones pretty easily. I also really enjoyed my short term assignments.
I loved that they were able to find me only work in the non-profit or governmental sector. I loved that they had a pretty easy time of finding me work, so I didn't have to do job applications, which is my least favorite part of working sometimes. I appreciate that they offer positions without being making me feel bad for turning them down, and were consistant in finding work when its what I was looking for.
I wasn't sure whether to share this, but I had a sorta-bad thing happen at one of my assignments, and when I told Scion they responded immediately and professionally and made me feel like they werent going to put me into any bad situations. Maybe it was just for liability reasons, but they made me feel cared for while I was dealing with an unpleasant situation. I want to give points when an organization is able to treat the people it works with well.
At this point I temp-ed my way into a permanent position at a great organization. When I told Scion they were happy for me. I'm happy about the new position, and next time I'm looking for work I'm sure I'll end up working with...
Read moreI've been with Scion Staffing for about five months as a placement. I contacted them with my resume and standard cover letter and Scion sharpened them up and made them way more presentable. Tina was extremely helpful in coaching me with my resume. Karina then very helpfully coached me in the interview process, simply and with a great amount of esteem-building. First I was placed into a project toward its end, and was made very aware that the position would be temporary if I accepted it which was totally fine. Then I was moved to another position and am about to be converted and hired by the company. It's great!
Scion is constantly checking in and making sure I'm doing well with my position and with the company I'm working for.

Read moreAfter posting my resume and applying through several online job boards, Sarah Kurhajetz, Associate Executive Recruiter with Scion Staffing contacted me during the first week of March 2020, mere days before a regional shelter in place that severely affected the job market. In mid April she contacted me with a contract to hire opportunity with a local non-profit with which I'm currently assigned. Sarah has assisted me above and beyond the call of duty as a staffing agent by preparing me for the video interview with their client, personally bringing me the client's work materials and responding to my questions during the first weeks of the assignment. Scion Staffing's on boarding process, using Docusign and Dropbox made the human resources process quick, convenient and seamless. I have recommended and will recommend Scion to any peers...
