what an absolutely AMAZING store! i could have spent hours looking through all of the baskets, shelves and walls full of the most unique, coolest and cutest trinkets. i intially only went in to look, i wasn't planning on buying anything, but when i laid eyes on the pufferfish with GOOGLY EYES i couldn't pass it up. unfortunately, my husband and i are traveling from boston so it would have been extremely difficult to bring it home without breaking its spines. fortunately, the shop offers shipping! laila was able to help us fill out the form and within a couple days let me know the cost of shipping and had it sent out. sthe shell cellar was truly one of my most favorite shops i've visited my entire...

Ok, full disclosure. When G decided to take a chance on A when she married him, we were in SF at the Shell Cellar and she wanted these shell themed wind chimes to hang in our bathroom so this was the reason we actually went to SF today. She found the chimes and for a store on the pier Ifoundctbe price agreeable for 26.00. The girl behind the counter was awesome. If her bodd reads this she's the college student who transfered from a valley school to a Bay Area school. She's a great kid and a great ambassador to the public. So, so many shiny things under one roof! This is an absolute treasure trove, with a literal treasure chest to pick thru of special shells right in the front!!! I happened to spot this on a random adventure and was quite pleased happy with their supply of shells. The shop is very well lit, allowing excellent review of products, the shells are basketed and very well marked. High quality items and what I would consider very reasonable prices.
