I shopped everywhere for my diamond engagement ring - including high-end shops like Cartier, Tiffany's and Harry Winston - and while Trabert was the first place I went to, I ended up coming back to them in the end for this lifetime piece of jewelery. Melissa was approachable, friendly and transparent about the process, and had honest feedback on what type of diamond worked best for my aesthetic and our budget. Eric quickly built rapport with my fiance which made the whole customization process so much more enjoyable and less intimidating. They collaborated with us on multiple CAD designs before making the perfect ring in time for our proposal / engagement trip! When it ended up being a little bigger than expected (due to changing temperatures / less hand swelling) - they quickly resized it for us in record time so that I could wear it during our trip. Trabert Goldsmiths is the best of the best. My partner and I met with a dozen local jewelers prior to hearing about Trabert from a friend. No other jewelers could deliver what we wanted - an engagement ring with custom (and somewhat niche) specifications. Melissa and Eric took the job head on, providing us with multiple options for the focal diamond before we found the perfect one. The custom band was also crafted beautifully, and turned out better than we imagined it would!
