This store is great! We went during early afternoon on a Sunday. It was lively, but not too crowded, and everyone including the staff and other patrons were super friendly.
They have a great selection of board games, DnD books and figures, miniature-making supplies, and other TTRPG materials. They had some kid comics as well and I saw a few kids there, so it's also family friendly. They are LGBT friendly and have lots of LGBT stickers and even some pride flag dice. There were a few tables set up where you can reserve a spot to play, and they had some snack and drinks available.
I read online that some of their locations have shop cats, and I was interested in bringing in my cat, since we have her harness trained and love socializing her. When I called to ask if it was okay to bring her, the staff was super non-judgmental and kind, and let us know that we could definitely bring her. I'm not sure what their dog policy is, but we had our cat in her carrier and on her leash letting her walk around and everyone was super happy to see her.
I couldn't have asked for a better experience! Definitely coming back to this...
Read moreI came in to look for, buy, and play a game with some friends. Landed on a beginner set for magic the gathering and spent about 4 hours playing! They have comics and lots of board games, card games, and tabletop games. They also have supplies for figurine painting. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They seem to have a experience with a lot of games they have in stock; I even saw one of the staff teaching another group how to play the tabletop game they just purchased! Very welcoming environment that encourages guests to stay with snacks and drinks that can be purchased at a very reasonable price. Overall, I can't wait to come here more often to play with friends and connect...
Read moreI wish I could give this story a negative review. Just went to an RCQ and they ran it completely wrong. Dropped someone who had a reserved spot and then when he showed up they wouldn't give his spot back, caused someone else to drop so he could join. Then in the middle of the RCQ someone had an 18 card sideboard and he was called out for it. He started to cuss at everyone and the store gave 0 warnings or a game loss. The guy was cheating and they didn't issue the game loss like they are supposed to. They also didn't have a judge for the RCQ also, so that is also a shit show. Also who even starts an RCQ at 5pm, they didn't even start top 8 until...
