Skateland USA (North Anderson) — Local services in Sandy Springs

So my 8 year old son is a high functioning autistic child we have gone to this roller rink multiple times even on a Friday night. I set up a play date with another child at this roller rink in Anderson. The older lady working there denied my son to go in because his hyperactive personality in the lobby. She even refused us after when I told her he has another child to keep him preoccupied. Then saying it was a ton of middle schoolers. I found out that my friends son who we were going to meet was doing kart wheels in the lobby. He was acting wild too but she let her child in. My friends son was doing great on the roller rink when I saw him to discuss with his mom that they are not allowing my son in. We had 4 adults in a group with three children. We are perfectly capable to keep these children together. I WILL NEVER BE BACK! I do not suggest this skater rink. You can bring your child to a better rink somewhere else where they are less cold hearted. As a special needs mom I was very upset with the discrimination against my son. DO NOT RECOMMEND. PLAN A PARTY ELSEWHERE. 🤦🏻‍♀️ I was very disappointed and here’s why. Planned my moms birthday here and wished I could give more stars bc we all had a blast but this establishment should do better. The tables were sticky with soda when we walked in. That was okay to begin with, then I saw a dead cockroach by the sound booth flipped on its back. One of the employees got a private and public party reservation mixed up and we were under the impression that we would get pizza so we bought unnecessary drinks and other sides. The manager didn’t make it right or even attempt to. Instead she just wanted us to pay so she could open the doors for everyone else, that’s cool thought. I don’t recommend it. Wish I would’ve got pictures of everything else but we were upset so we just left. Or if you plan a party speak with the manager first to make sure all the ducks are in a row. We paid $125 and now the whole family is having to go somewhere to eat. That’s the icing on the cake for me, she could’ve atleast attempted to make it right but didn’t. I booked a party for Saturday, I was initially told it would be $75 and I can pay the day of. When we arrived I was charged a $100 and was told because they went up on prices. Not one every in our party was able to skate because they ran out! Our party came with 2 pizzas I placed the order to have them served at 4:15pm promptly so that everything stay on schedule. The pizza didn’t come out until 4:30pm so that put us behind then at 4:59 the rude manager gets on the speaker telling every to turn in skates because they have a private party starting at 5pm. Why would you book us 3-5pm if another party is going to be there at 5! She barges Into our party room huffing and puffing because we were tryna pack up as quickly at possible keep in mind we have to change out of skates & grab our gifts and decor. She then starts fussing with one of my party guest and intentionally hit him with a skate pal trying to push him out of her way! Very very bad experience!
