We were looking for a counter height dining table and everything we found was either outrageously expensive and not what we wanted or made of particle board and lies. We were in Anderson visiting my parents and saw a sign. We went in and the only counter height table they had was way too big and the wrong wood/color. The salesman, and I wish I had his name, asked what do you want. I told him I wanted that table but smaller, same apron, tapered leg but made of something other than butcher block. He said "sure thing, I can have it made for you". To which, I thought, this is going to be ridiculously expensive. He showed me the stains and we picked out handmade swiveling chairs. He wrote up the ticket and said I can have it all made for $3500. My jaw about hit the floor....that was 1/2, even 1/3 of some of the prices we were finding in Charlotte for stuff that was not even what we wanted. He wrote up the ticket, I paid 1/2 down and almost exactly 2 months later he called and said it's ready. My dad even went up the store to see if he could fit it in his truck to bring to me. They took the time to show it to him and then spent about 1 hour helping him wrap and load it into his truck. I was worried we would get it and it would maybe look old fashioned or not what I had pictured in my head. I could not have been more wrong. It's absolutely georgeous!!! It's beautiful and holy cow is it heavy, solid wood. I love it so much and I am so thankful we popped in there that day! The whole staff is wonderful and were so helpful. I will always go there when we need good quality wood furniture. Thank you, Wood You. You guys were awesome and it's a stunning...
Read moreWe have purchased several pieces of furniture over the years from Wood You and have always been pleased (office furniture, a dining room sideboard, guest bedroom nightstands). Our most recent purchase was outdoor patio Polywood furniture. We had purchased other Polywood pieces previously at a business in Greenville at a much higher price (before Wood You carried Polywood). When we needed more and saw it at Wood You, we ordered it. It is beautiful, sturdy and Amish made, and of the same quality we purchased in Greenville, but at a much lower price. Jennifer, Kevin & David are all a pleasure to work with. Go to Wood You...they'll...
