Worst experience ever. We came in for a wedding suit appointment and from the minute we walked through the door the salesman started referring to my fiancé as “dude” and saying “this is the cheapest option, dude”. We never gave him our budget, so why would he assume we’re looking for the cheaper option?!? We’re grown adults that are getting married, not 16 year olds looking for a prom suit… it felt horrible to be talked down to like we had no idea what we were looking for. I felt profiled the minute he started talking. He kept blurting out “it’s only $20 extra dude! Not too bad dude!”, all throughout the store. How EMBARASSING. He rushed through the process, didn’t even ask us what color we wanted. He also assumed we didn’t know what LINEN was!! Extremely condescending. I wish I had taken down his name. He was a tan man that said specialized in purchases, not rentals. It feels great to be treated like garbage by your “own people” merely because you’re in a “wealthier” area (meaning right across from South Coast). I’m genuinely upset and so disappointed. I was really impressed by the service and quality of the custom suit I bought from here! We walked in looking to rent suits for my friend's wedding and the cost difference of a rented suit and a custom suit was a little over $100 so we all pulled the trigger. We chose from the colors of fabric and even chose the inside liner from the many options they had. We were measured and decided from the many 'custom' options of styles, cuts, and stitching. When the suit came back a week later it fit like a glove, they just hemmed the pant and I walked out with an amazing custom fitted suit for $420. It's still the best suit I own, and free tailoring for life! The gentleman that helped us all out was phenomenal. I forgot his name, started with an A, but he was from Israel. I came in looking for a jacket pocket handkerchief for a coming up 20's themed birthday party in downtown LA. I had just gotten off work and was in jeans and boots and I was immediately made to feel out of place by a staff member. As I'm looking at the handkerchiefs I'm approach and asked if I could be helped looking for something. I told him I was good just looking for the final touch for a costume. He began showing me different handkerchiefs and pointing to where the cheaper ones were. I found the one I liked and was looking at something else and tells me if I'm ready he can check me out now.
