Chico's — Local services in Santa Fe

My last two experience as Chico's in Santa Fe was awful. The first visit was on 7/27/23 and I had schedule an appoint at 9:00 AM. When I got to the store it was closed and I realized they did not open until 10:00 AM. I assumed it was a system error that allowed me to make an appointment at 9:00 AM. I returned only to discover that an employee was waiting for the keys because the person who was suppose to open the door was not there due to an emergency. I was upset because I was their to receive my teacher discount before heading out of town. The only compensation was the manager saying I could still get the discount when I got back. No much compensation for having to drive to the store 3 times in order to purchase clothes.

Now today (8/19/23), my birthday. I go to the store and want to use my birthday coupon. The lady in the store says you have two coupons. One for $5 and my birthday coupon for $25. She rings up the item which ends up being discounted below $30 and she enters the $5 coupon. I explained I wanted to use my $25 coupon and I was told if they cancel the sale I would lose my $5 coupon. So, I went and found another piece of clothing. It also was discount when they rang it up but now the register will not allow me to use the $25 coupon. The woman who helped me with glasses ask her co-worker for help. They could not figure out how to get me the coupon. Frustrated, I said, "Just forget it. I'm leaving." The woman with glasses who was helping me said, "Does it help to get mad?" Unfriendly. I actually was planning on buying a lot but due to the poor service I decided to go somewhere else. The associates were talking to each other and just never once tried to engage in any conversation. My husband and I were in the store for 15-20 minutes. Associates at Chico's are so accommodating and friendly. The clothing they carry is top quality and so much variety. Sizes to fit any figure. Always great sale prices on some items.
