I cannot say enough great things about the Wind River Trading Company. I was visiting from the East Coast about a month ago and decided to browse, not intending to buy anything. But, then I saw a beautiful watch that caught my eye, and decided to treat myself, purchasing it rather spontaneously.

The salespeople are patient, courteous, and went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with the watch by adjusting the bands so it would fit. They took great pains to make sure it was the size I wanted and they communicated honestly about when it would be ready (it was a busy day of repairs and adjustments when I walked in). We had discussed when it might be ready, and when they learned I was visiting from out of town and I might not be able to pick it up in time for my flight the next day, they offered to personally ship the watch to my home address, gratis, and rush it so I could have it within a day or two.

Luckily, I was able to pick it up on my way to Albuquerque but even the gesture was greatly appreciated. The customer service combined with quality of the products (gorgeous and well-made pieces by regional tribes) made the entire experience a delight. They also give you background on what you're buying if you're curious, which was nice.

The watch is amazing, fits perfect, and I've received a lot of compliments on it from coworkers, friends, family, and even strangers. If you want quality jewelry that you'll enjoy and remember the experience of buying for years to come, definitely go here.

I'm in Santa Fe for work and came upon Wind River Trading Company. What a wonderful experience!

They had amazing knives that are true works of art - so magnificent i bought one for my husband and one for my son. I then started to explore the amazing jewelry throughout the store. I found so many beautiful pieces i had trouble choosing. Ash was amazingly helpful, guiding me to the style of quality jewelry i was looking for, sharing with me information about each piece i was admiring, but never pressing or pressuring; only supporting and guiding me to the kinds of things i was asking to see. Ash had tremendous knowledge about the artists, about the stones in the pieces i was admiring, about the different materials used in each of the pieces (jewelry and non-jewelry) i was looking at. And it was very clear that the pieces were genuine Native American pieces made by artists from the region.

My daughter and work friend were with me and they too found amazing items -- both jewelry and non-jewelry -- that they were so excited to have.

This is a high quality store with high quality pieces of art to wear, use and enjoy and all of them are priced in ways that honor the talent of the artists but at the same time are affordable for anyone looking for good quality jewelry, art, and beautiful functional items too.
