Kathmandu Boutique is a place of serenity and character. Reena is one of the most caring and helpful individuals one can meet. I have been there a Handful of times and am greeted personally with the utmost welcome and care. I live 26 miles away from Kathmandu Boutique and would visit everyday if I could. The unique Inventory stands on its own from handmade art to hand woven materials to create the tools needed to help achieve ones balance and serenity within to ultimately find enlightenment within oneself. Theres so much to see yet also there is also to do. Reena was kind enough to offer the room she rents out for meditation or classes for whom is seeking .... A better self, higher state of being within mind body and soul. I am just in complete awe that she is as humble as one can be. Also I believe if there was enough of us like Reena we would be able to change the energy We are facing today for the better.... meaning within the general public. My favorite store in the world! I absolutely LOOOOVE this store! I love the clothing, the jewelry, accessories, the home decorations, candles, crystals, music, incense, I am not kidding - such a HUGE selection of awesome items - Absolutely everything in here I adore! The vibe in here is incredible - so soothing and fun at the same time. Reena, the owner is one of the kindest souls on earth. She will help you find the perfect outfit or anything you are looking for. I have bought gifts for my friends and family and they always love whatever I buy from here. Reena cooks up delicious food and hosts an event here twice a year with live music all day long. Reena even helped me dress up in a sari - she taught me how to do it and now I can wear saris whenever I feel like dressing up. If you're looking for unique, eclectic, vibrant, special items - this is the place to go! I give this place 100 stars over and over again....

I came back to see my review removed, so here I am restating it. I came to this shop often when I was in high school and never had a problem. The store has a lot of cool stuff. But on my last visit, the lady working the register accused me of stealing. I have never stolen anything, so I was deeply offended. The lady proceeded to raise her voice, accusing that I had put something in my bag. She told me to put my stuff in the front register and followed me around the store. Frankly, from the moment I walked in She didn't seem very pleased with my presence, I think the assumption that I stole something came from a prejudice She has from her own beliefs.
