Came here for my aftermarket car alarm and OEM ignition issues based on all the good reviews.

JR and Sam communicated thoroughly; were honest, friendly, and transparent; and troubleshot a very complex issue that even my skilled mechanic in Ktown chose to bypass, due to requiring high-level electrical expertise and being a pain in the ass and time consuming to fix.

JR’s mechanics fixed my issues skillfully in relatively short amount of time, charged me an extremely reasonable labor rate, and explained clearly the actual issue with my car, versus everyone else’s conjecture. I got my car back yesterday, and it runs like a dream. It’s never hummed this well since leaving the Galpin lot.

Precision really knows their stuff, and they have the decades of expertise to back it. And they didn’t rip me off or charge insane labor rates, the way Westside car shops sometimes can. They have integrity, 1,000%.

Can’t recommend them enough. I hope they stay in business until they retire.

I went to three different auto sound places to try to fix my Outback's B&O radio & screen. It had "delaminated" and a known issue among this particular head unit. The Subaru dealer wanted over $1400 to replace, if they could get a replacement. The other more known repair shops in Santa Monica also wanted to charge a lot with no guarantee of success. I went by the reviews of Yelp and Google and took it to Precision. They may not have the most "business like storefront", but everyone raves about them and now I know why. They took the time to locate the parts I needed rather than replace the unit. There were some hiccups along the way but every time I had a minor glitch they saw to it to fix it quickly. Love RJ. Precision Sound is Honest and Amazing. RJ spent an hour with me, no charge, trying to find out if my intermittent Bluetooth non-connection problem was my old phone's fault (1 1/2 yr old HTC), or my old car's fault (2009 Prius). Since I can't upgrade my phone till next yr, and seems both old machines are at fault (connecting old phone with new car works, new phone with old car works, but old phone w old car doesn't), decided to get a new Bluetooth module for car. RJ looked up best price option, it's after-market. Appointment end of week. Wish me luck! So so happy with their service.
