Walgreens — Local services in Santa Monica

This is by far worst pharmacy i have ever been too. The pharmacist called me the B word. She is very unprofessional. I was extremely sick and gave her my prescription to fill for me. She told me to leave it there on Wednesday and come tomorrow Thursday to pick it up. I said okay. The next day i drive to pickup my medicine and she tells me sorry its not ready i need you to come in Monday afternoon to pick it up. At this point i was appalled. I said i need my prescription back. She told me No we cannot give it back to you you need to wait till Monday afternoon . Me being the nice person that i am i simply said wow okay i will do that. Monday came and i drove down the pharmacist said we can only fill up half of your prescription but you need to come back in couple hours it will be ready. At this point i was furious. I needed my full amount of medicine for a reason i was sick. So i said okay and left. One hour later i received a call saying please come for your prescription we cannot fill in anything for you sorry and i heard laughing in the background. I said why are you guys playing games ? The pharmacist then said games F word and B word and hung up phone on me. This place is disgusting, unprofessional, and complete...

My first time to stop by at this branch. And I did not get to the right entrance in the first place. I guess they changed the entrance to other side for safety and protection. The entrance is not on Pico Blvd, but on Lincoln instead.

Maybe due to Christmas season and understaff, or maybe the parking lot is just too small, the store is not crowded and some of the shelves are empty especially popular items in pharmacy and on sale isle.

2 cashiers are working hard efficiently to help people check out sooner and they are very friendly and nice. This Walgreens is small, yet with technology display that impresses me a lot. Rather than open and close the door, you know what’s inside. This is like what I have seen in Korean subway station where people can simply tap and order to be delivered home before they board the train.

It is still clean, quiet and safe to visit. The sign is not too strong or clear like other branches. Maybe this is intended to be a community oriented store?

I do hope they fill the stock soon so people can get what they come here for....

Pharmacy is very poorly staffed and/or managed. I had a prescription transferred to this pharmacy for an acute injury while visiting area from out of town. The Walgreen's app confirmed it was in progress and would be ready at 4pm. Then the app stopped responding for updates. So I tried calling pharmacy. I was hung up on twice, then on third attempt put into a call cue that kept rolling over and an employee would just manually put me back on hold, this happened for 7 minutes, then they hung up on me again. I go to pharmacy at 4pm to pick up, and the Pharmacist says they don't have it in system or ready, but don't have time to fill it now because the location closes at 6pm. There were 2 other customers there to pick up prescriptions that were supposedly ready, one wasn't, and another one wasnt even in stock. And injured customer from out of town picking up needed medication shouldn't be turned away in person because of the stores system errors. Poor management, and very poor customer service at this...
