My baby Buttercup went to the groomer today at first she a little scared and not sure about the situation .the groomer spent a lot of one on one time with her she took to bathe her and she started giving kisses to the groomer for Buttercup that is a giant leap of faith once she was bathed she came out with Buttercup and sat and was very slow and patient with Buttercup which means so much to me as well as Buttercup. I had at first taken her to PetSmart and they threw her in a kennel Buttercup cried so loud I heard her out in the store I immediately went in and asked if they were bathing her they said no I told the lady to give me my baby she will not be put in a kennel she is not your run of the mill dog this is my CHILD . I expressed to her that she wouldn't want me to put her child in a kennel so I took her home and done some research on groomers salons I called numerous places then I found Barkie Bow Wow's I talked with the gentleman and explained my issue about Buttercup and he arranged an appointment .they were so easy and patient with my little girl in the end she like I said kissing and loving on the lady .so yes I will say Buttercup will be a regular customer of Barkie Bow Wow's. I called many times couldn't get anyone to answer so I left a message. When I didn't get a call back after two days I went uo there it's close to my house so I wanted to go for convenience. Well they said open but doors were locked and no one was there that I could see. I heard many dogs barking! I finally got a call back from some man who didn't know prices or really anything! I just got a new puppy a poodle and I simply wanted his face shaved for the first visit. He couldn't give me a price. So he put me on hold called the owner to get a price. After a long hold he tells me 95 dollars. I said just for a puppy to get his face shaved nothing more. He put me on hold again then came back and said the lowest he could go is 65. Those prices were outrageous just a shave a puppy's face. I could see if it was bath and other things getting done nail bath Etc but this was simply a shaved face nothing more. When I called the owner said they had a cancellation and that they could get my dog in the next morning, so I gave them information and a few background details on my dog. The next day I show up for my appointment and the incredibly rude owner completely denied me service saying I never confirmed that I wanted the appointment. Which is entirely untrue. I absolutely confirmed that I wanted the appointment because I knew how lucky it was that there was a cancellation, so I immediately jumped at the chance. So after driving all the way there and making myself late for work I was turned away without so much as an apology.
