I just left this store and I am BEYOND disappointed. So I come in looking for a bread. And they had a shelf with pre packaged bread and two grocery bags of different rolls. So ok on the shelf on the sales floor I’m thinking for sale right. So man behind counter says no no and shaking his head like a 5 year old repeatedly and I said ok fine, I’m not from here. Do you think you can recommend a place I could buy some rolls for tortas. And all the while I was speaking he shakes his head no no no no like over and over again like a child. I looked at him like are you kidding me. Maybe we can act like an adult and actually show some courtesy. So I proceed to buy two drinks and I pull my card out. Oh no card sorry I have no machine I was like are you kidding? So I had to scrape the dollar bills I could find then didn’t get my change :) yay. I just walked out. I don’t know what kind of business they are running but half the shelves are empty and it’s dirty as can be and STINKS as bad as the employees attitude behind the counter. This little gem nestled within a strip mall has quaint feel. As you walk in you are greeted with a tiny grocery store carrying various Latin American treats and groceries that then opens up to a small eatery with 4 booths and 4 tables. Not the most romantic place, but it does the job.

The food was not bad. This place has decent tacos. Only drawbacks are that the tortillas are not freshly made and they dont give you much meat for the price (2.39 each). You may pay a little more in say, bull street taco, however their meat portions and freshly made tortillad make it worth it.

However, the sopes are wonderful! They are crispy on the outside with a soft center. I suggest getting the chorizo or barbacoa.

Best Authentic Mexican Food in Savannah,GA I always get the sopes with a bottle Coke from Mexico which is way better than the ones here in America in the can, plastic or the bottles they are definitely thee best I ever had in my life, I swear they are bomb.com 👀🙌👋 My fiance and I traveled across America so we know what's up when it comes to Mexican Food!
