Absolutely hate going to this place. It takes MONTHS to get an appointment, even if it’s an emergency. They don’t care about patients. I had to have an emergency visit to another office. I never feel like my questions or concerns are answered, and I feel like I am completely looked over because I’m just another body in the office. I’ve had nothing but issues with the Memorial Health OBGYN.

Here are my biggest issues:

I saw Paula for years, and I was having issues with my birth control. She wouldn’t change it, even though it was giving me severe migraines with auras. I had to change to a different doctor who told me it was 100% my birth control. I wasted 3 years and was on disabilities because of her incompetence.

After requesting to never see her again, they set up a virtual call with her without me knowing. First, I had issues with scheduling. My appointment was at 1:30, but they called to ask if I could meet at 1. I told them this was fine, but no earlier because I had work at that time and couldn’t answer. So, she ignored that and called 3 times at 12:30, which was 30 minutes earlier than our appointment. I called at 1 pm to talk, and apparently since I didn’t answer, she moved on. At my scheduled appointment time. When I finally got her at 2 pm, I was horrified to see her again. (She asked why I hadn’t answered my phone earlier!) We spoke briefly, and I told her I was having major issues bleeding and a lot of abnormal pain. She told me I should talk to my doctor about it, and didn’t bother setting an appointment or making a note about it! She “prescribed” me a free, newly created birth control to try to help my other issues. And they caused vision loss and migraines with aura. Again. That’s the second time she’s prescribed me something that did this, and I have never had problems with any other medications.

When I had an IUD inserted by Dr. Greene, it was the most painful experience of my life. Directly after the insertion, she didn’t let me lay down and adjust, she just grabbed my hands and yanked me to a sitting position. I wanted to pass out. She didn’t ask how I felt or anything. Just left. I didn’t see her again. After 3 months of abnormally heavy bleeding, and suffering from anemia as a result (and don’t even get me started on the cramps!), I called to get it removed, and they said the best they could do was a month. I had to call another office to get it removed. That dr was awesome and took care of me, but she was horrified when I told her my treatment from the other doctor and nurses. She told me she would have never recommended an IUD for me due to my body, and she said the other doctor should have talked to me about it. I have had a lot of issues after the removal, and I can’t do a plank without major cramps for two days and a heavy period.

I called this number today to get my first prenatal visit scheduled. I originally called them a few weeks ago and the Savannah office turned me away because of no insurance at this time. I couldn’t make my appt today so I called the pooler number to try and get scheduled at a more convenient office location and update my insurance info. This was the absolute worst experience I’ve had scheduling an appointment. The first young lady that I spoke with on the phone was very rude and even began yelling at me over the phone. She stated “Ima tell you right now, you ain’t about to get no appointment until August” “oh yea and I see you was a no show today!” She spoke to me in the most condescending and disrespectful manner. I’m sure many clients have been turned off by the front desk personnel and decided not to even book an appointment. I told her she didn’t need to be rude or yell at me at me and she said “whatever this about to be my last days here anyway, I ain’t tryna be here no more and I sure don’t care” then she hung up the phone on me. I called back and she gave the phone to the other lady in the office with her and I could hear her say “here take this lady call and make her appointment” she transferred me to someone and I ask what office was this, what was their name, who was the manager and doctors and who can I speak to other than them. She told me, no one was there but them, they don’t have a manager anymore, she said they can’t give out their last names, and she named one the doctors as Doctor Dehnad at the facility. Now the other lady told me that their manager wasn’t in today, now this next lady told me they don’t have a manager anymore. I am 8 weeks pregnant, have not had my first prenatal appointment , I have been turned away, disrespected on a level today that I have never seen and I would never recommend anyone going here to expect people like this to have concern for a pregnant woman, her stress levels, and any health concerns of her body or her baby. This is not the place and there needs to be major changes. They have no concern for their clients and I am appalled at how individuals like this is allowed to work at facility like this and upset and disrespect women who are just trying to find proper care for themselves and their baby. Memorial Health Physicians, I am completely disgusted with the service I received today and it is a shame that an organization like this will get a terrible rep due to the poor ability of meeting simple standards for your organization. Long overdue review deleted my previous review because I liked the OB here but oh well. I find out I was pregnant shortly after I expierenced heavy cramping thinking it was urgent as it was an early pregnancy I reached out to this office. I was 9 months post partum and previously given birth at memorial using Dr Greene. For some reason the dr was out of office and I was given the dr assistant “Nathaly” I had my ultrasound and they couldn’t confirm a pregnancy and told me if I start bleeding call back. They never even offered a blood test to check HCG levels! Mind you I was leaving for vacation 2 days after this! The only lab performed was a urine culture to rule out possible UTI. Thankfully it was a UTI and I never lost the pregnancy. Praise the lord. However this is where this office completely messed up. They let me go a whole weekend and then some to even prescribe me a antibiotic for the UTI. This could have easily turned into a kidney infection! Especially on a pregnant woman. I messaged multiple times about my frustration and pain I was in over my chart and Nathaly told me I need to be patient as they were “understaffed” they allowed me to go almost a week without treatment. That’s where I found another Dr. I now use Savannah OBGYN couldn’t be happier. Oh and they even ran my genetic testing correctly at Savannah OB!
