Don’t shop in store here if you wear any size over medium. Dealt with employees switching clothes, that I tried on and put on hold in a XL, with a XS that I bought and took home not thinking I needed to check the size on an item I physically put on hold. To make matters worse I called after realizing the mistake to ask them to put it on hold and I will be in on Tuesday to get it. I was told they would call me if they DIDN'T have it. Got no call. Still called on Tuesday because I live in downtown Chicago and did not want to drive all the way out there for no reason. I was told they no longer have the item and cannot check other stores because it’s apparently on sale now (it was not on sale as it was part of their new items and not listed for sale online). I had my sister call because I was frustrated and had a feeling maybe they weren’t looking for the right item. She described the item and was told they have them and they put a L and XL on hold for me. I drive all the way out there (in rush hour chicago traffic) to get attitude from the employee (same employee from the original store experience) saying she told me they didn’t have it. I told her my sister called and they said they put them on hold and she lied and said she never received calls (checked to make sure my sister called the right store, she did). So I’m pissed at this point and walk around the mall. I walk passed the store 20 mins later to find they have the L and XL back on the rack along with the XS that I returned. Not sure why the sizes were not on the rack when I check the store 20 minutes earlier. It’s feels malicious and like they were hiding them from me. Maybe I’m annoying and I know it’s just a skirt but this could have been avoided by just getting the skirt I tried on originally. I also didn’t appreciate the attitude I received. Also for the note when I bought the skirt in the end IT WAS NOT...
Read moreIf you are a woman of color don’t go in! I visited Dry Goods at Woodfield Mall for the first time yesterday afternoon and was really disappointed with the customer service. When I entered, I wasn’t greeted at all—even though I noticed that another customer, who was white, was warmly greeted just moments later. It felt like I was being intentionally overlooked; the sales associate made brief eye contact several times but never offered a greeting or assistance. This experience left me feeling racially profiled and unwelcome. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and works to ensure every customer is treated with the same respect and warmth. Not expecting it though since I’m seeing all of these bad...
Read moreJuliana at the Woodfield store was over the top helpful. I came in with a beanie hat that my daughter received for christmas that I wanted to return but I did not have a receipt. Figured I'd get store credit. However she could not find it in her system to process it and there were non in the store. She took down my phone number and put a notice out to all the other stores to see if they had that beanie in stock to get a sku so we can return it. She called me back a week later to no avail which is unfortunate but understood. I appreciate that Juliana kept me on her radar to do the best that she could to help the situation. I now have a new beanie to keep for...
