I've had hundreds of massages and I'm sad to report this is among the worst I've ever had. My husband and I purchased a package for our 15th anniversary, facial and massage. We upgraded to 90 minute massages. We arrived 10 minutes early and no one was there to greet us. Someone finally came 10 minutes after our appointment time. They took us upstairs and put us outside with water while they got the room ready. It was 100° that day and we were sweating. We did not get into the room until 15-20 minutes after our appointment time. They took us into the couple's room which sounds nice and has the potential to be had they done massages and facials at the same time but the way they did the services made being in the same room annoying. One of us got a massage while the other got a facial. This meant loud thumping of a hot towel caddy and facial instruments while one of us was getting a massage. Also rather than asking us about any skin concerns or issues before our services started they only ask if we had any allergies (no inquiry about concerns or issues) after getting started. The room also had a fireplace that opened to our room and the adjoining room. This meant we also heard every sound from the other room. It was very noisy during our services. Neither the massage therapist or esthetician introduce themselves. The massage therapist did not ask what kind of pressure I wanted, never checked in if the pressure was ok and when I asked for deeper pressure it did not change. It felt more like a lotion application than a therapeutic massage. She did not ask about any medical/health conditions, or if we had any areas of concern. She worked one area on my husband, upper shoulder for a very long time. Despite taking us back late they still ended our services on time. I am quite certain despite paying the upgrade for a 90 minute massage I only got a 60 minute. So disappointed that we waisted our time ans money on our anniversary. We were really looking forward to our spa services and they were sup par at best.

Highly recommend Carly for a facial (magical!) and Mariah for massage (so relaxing, checking every so often to ensure pressure was OK!). Mary Lynn is a hoot! Arrive early and ask to spend time on the peaceful 2nd floor patio while you wait for your appointment time. Call to ask for any special packages. I had a one-hour facial + one-hour massage + hand and foot scrub for an astonishingly reasonable price. Would easily have been two to three times more at one of the Scottsdale resorts. This little gem is tucked away, too, so zero street/traffic noise to disturb a relaxing, rejuvenating escape.

I booked this couples massage, facial, hand and foot scrub for a relaxing anniversary afternoon with my wife. I wish I would have read these reviews prior to booking our appointment.

When we arrived there was a lady sitting at the desk. I presume waiting for us to arrive because she didn't seem to be doing anything. When we walked in there was no greeting, she just sat there waiting for us to greet her. She then took us upstairs in the elevator, standing in the very front of the elevator facing forward with us in back. She wasn't rude, I just think she needs a lot of customer service training.

As described in previous reviews one person gets the massage while the other is getting the facial treatment. This is only our second time going for a couples massage, so for us different treatments at the same time was not the issue. The issue with our experience was all of the talking, laughing, and moving things around coming from outside the room that completely ruins the mood inside. When we asked if it was the owner that was outside our room talking, we were told yes it is "she must have forgot we were in here" It is impossible to relax when the owner is less than 5ft way having a conversation nearly the entire time we were there. The girl that provided our massage was not wearing a mask, this would not have been much of an issue for me if she was not yawning in our faces while giving us our massage. If that is not enough another employee came into the room twice with her phone flashlight on to retrieve items.

I have no complaints about the facial portion of the treatment, I feel like she did a good job and is knowledgeable about what she is doing. The massage therapist was not outright rude to us, I believe she needs serious customer service training. It is clear that the owner of this company does not care about the services she is providing or about improving them. Especially after reading reviews complaining about the same things that have not been changed. I walked out of Mary Lynn's feeling like I got ripped off. I expect the services provided to reflect the amount I paid for them and this place does not do that. I am very dissatisfied with...

Went to this spa last week. Will never go back. I booked a massage and facial with a friend. When we arrived they were going to put us in same room. Facial - the products burned my face when she applied this steam. Massage - I had to ask for cover where my face rests, man was breathing hard throughout the entire massage and table was very hard and was not heated. I know I was in AZ, but a good table is a must especially when you are on it for 2 hours. My back hurt more when I left then when I came in. I felt so gross when I left from all the lotion he used. Went home, took shower and washed the clothes that I was wearing. They used products that sell at Walmart. Robes were small and silky. Owner was not at all professional when my friend called and complained. DO NOT GO HERE!

In response to Mary Lynn's review: Mary Lynn – You are something else and a LIAR. We were not looking for free services, we were looking for an afternoon of relaxation. Yes, we requested to come at the same time, we are friends, not a couple. We were the only customers in the spa that afternoon, so I find it hard to believe you were so inconvenienced by us asking to be in separate rooms. I said when she applied the steam that my face was burning, I did not say my face was burnt! Perhaps you should have done your job and inquire about what we wanted rather than assume. The fact that you called the resort is laughable – we had no contact with the staff other than checking in. We did not even eat our meals there. The resort was fabulous and they could definitely teach you something about customer service. Reading reviews from your other location, which I wish we would have prior to calling you, people are saying that any good reviews are written by you! Others have also described your tables as “rickety”. Clearly we are not the only ones that have been disappointed by your spa. I believe you should take your own advice and realize that this is not the way proper way to go about life. I will be reporting you to the Better Business Bureau and any other agency in Arizona...

This post is for my sister and I. Originally the specials looked awesome! The package options seemed great. I called to book our appointments and asked questions on two different calls to verify treatments and appointments. Upon entry, no one was there to great us ( we were a bit early). We were then escorted to a room for a group of 3 women. The staff was confused and not organized. After repeating ourselves on 3 occasions on what treatments were scheduled they finally figured out what beds to put us on. Mind you, a standard spa will ALWAYS know ahead of time who you are and what treatment you are getting with a full relaxing stress free environment. The staff was nice but so disjointed that were not in sinc. While one was getting a message, another would be getting a facial with constant noise from the machine, not to mention there was no ambience for music or darkened room to assist with calming the body and mindset. There were no instructions on assistance with standard robe procedure and dedressing. We were not provided robes until we asked 3 times and they only had 2. Once we finally started the services... about 10 mins inââ someone comes into the room interrupting the service asking one client if she wants a drink ( this is part of the after service, NOT during), touching and alarming the client. It was unprofessional and in fact was the owner. After my sister finished her services ( half hour prior to mine) she was presented a drink on the patio but my massage therapist stopped to poor a bud light in a glass. Then the other therapist started to dedress and make the bed like a hospital vacancy! This interrupts my message and at no point was I relaxed. Now- we move to the end of the service. I asked for a mimosa saying I would pay for it and they say they have NO mimosa! What do you mean? Itâs on the website!!!! How do you advertise that when they donât have it. We tried to provide the owner constructive feedback... but she couldnât handle it and told us that we were rude, blamed her staff for being unorganized and didnât take accountability...
