Anniversary date night at Volanti was a good call! We toasted to a complimentary champagne and my hubby opted for an iced tea.

Pre-dinner: We ordered Focaccia Bread with Serrano Pesto as an appetizer and it was delicious!

Dinner was also very delicious. I ordered the Wild Mushroom King Prawn Pasta. Here are the ingredients: grilled jumbo shrimp. tagliatelle pasta. chipotle. spicy cream sauce. wild mushroom. tomato. avocado. queso fresca. My husband ordered the Pan-Seared Salmon. Here are the ingredients: roasted potatoes. grilled asparagus. chimichurri. Along with a side of Volanti Frites (fries)

Service: was 5 stars. Our server was very attentive and checked on us several times. Refilled our waters.

Ambiance: We sat outside and got to see an international flight unload. Along with several airplanes taking off and landing. Note that the back of the building IS located directly next to the Scottsdale Airport runway. Along with amazing mountain views. What a fun concept!

Return visit: YES! We can't wait to return and sample...

We were excited to plan our corporate event with Volanti and signed a contract for an event in October. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. After signing, we were later told we were not on the books, despite having confirmation. We were also told in writing that there was no food & beverage minimum, only to be told later that there was.

When I called to clear up the miscommunication, I was dismissed by Dee Dee. I then followed up via email to request written clarification that we would not be executing the previously signed contract and never received a response.

This level of inconsistency and lack of communication is not what you expect when planning a professional event. Based on this experience, I would not recommend Volanti for...

I have dined at Volanti a few times and recently hosted our holiday Christmas party in their indoor/outdoor banquet room and let me just say, the views were BREATHTAKING. The venue was setup beautifully with tables indoor and outdoor for guest to sit or stand and take in the views of Scottsdale and see the planes fly in and out. The staff was incredible and made sure we were taken care of for all of our requests. The food was delicious, the green chili Mac-n-cheese and the sliders were to die for!
