I really enjoy this store and go out of my way to go there. However, at this time I am offering a four, and not five star review, as I would have in the past, because the culture has changed. When I first started going, this place was like community. I have fond memories of even striking up a conversation with other customers who I never saw again. It offered a public forum to openly talk about a wide range of intimate topics, not just sexual.

However, since the sale (yes, in the last two years the company was sold to a larger adult store conglomerate and is no longer locally owned), the climate and become corporate. I wouldn't say its cold. Yes, you can still talk openly, and it doesn't feel uncomfortable, but the sense of celebration about it is gone. It's just stuff.

It's still a great store, possibly a five star when compared to others, but not compared to their former selves.

And while I'm here, I find it obnoxious how the ratings have been skewed by people who read bad PR, and left nasty reviews, despite having never even stepped in the store or had an experience with...

The couple times I've been there the employees have been amazing, which imo is one of the most important factors of stores like this. They're super welcoming and friendly, without being overbearing. Just helpful in case you need them or have questions :) !! The atmosphere of the store is very comfortable, with display testers out on shelves and tables so you can turn on/ feel items (with your hands*) before purchasing, which is soooo helpful in making decisions. You do have to present ID (im assuming only if you look especially younger, as it's an 18+ store) to shop, so just make sure you have that present, especially if youre a student, bring your student ID because they have 10% off...

I walked in here the other day, expecting to make a purchase. I was immediately acknowledged as I walked in the door, but after 20 minutes of wandering around the store, no one bothered to ask if I needed any assistance. There was one employee talking to another customer, completely blocking some of the items I was interested in, 2 more employees chatting with each other, and maybe only one other customer in there. It's been quite some time since I've shopped for these items, so I was hoping to talk to someone knowledgeable, and am very disappointed with the lack of customer service. I want to support local businesses, but my experience here was no better than...
