Thanks to Mari and Misbah, my metals and stones from the past breathe new life. The “revitalized” pieces that M&M created for me are more incredible than I could have imagined. When I initially met with them, I brought several pieces of gold jewelry that just weren’t me and that I hadn’t worn in 20 years so why not see about turning them into something else?

There were two stones in my old jewelry that I was hoping they could incorporate in to new designs - I had a necklace and a ring in mind. They worked with me to design both, sketching designs and offering suggestions for what I couldn’t articulate, and results are so much more incredible than I could have imagined!!!

The absolutely lovely and dainty everyday necklace, that is now the new home of a small diamond that was my grandmothers, is a perfect mix of history with a modern touch. The ring - which I never want to take off - showcases a triangle shaped alexandrite and diamond in an asymmetrical yellow goal bezel with a white gold band. The alexandrite is my birthstone and was in a ring that my family gave me (that I cringed at when I wore it). Now, I beam. It’s a symbol of family that perfectly represents me.

I came in with my family antique heirloom wedding ring that was due on some maintenance. Some of the prongs needed to be re-done due to age and wear, as well as some of the stones reset and have the wedding and engagement band soldered together.

I was very hesitant, as I’ve heard countless stories of people taking in their wedding rings for maintenance only to find them not to their standards. This jewelry studio EXCEEDED my own expectations.

Mari and Misbah took EXCELLENT care of my ring and did phenomenal work. The pricing was appropriate to the work done, and the ring looks BEAUTIFUL! I am so happy with the results and I’ve gotten so many compliments on my ring. They do beautiful craftsmanship and take great care, especially with older pieces, and I highly recommend taking in your jewelry to this studio.

Mari & Misbah are terrific artists and jewelers. My wife, who is a very knowledgeable jewelry consumer searched far & wide in Seattle and ultimately settled on M&M to redo her wedding ring. The ring was complicated; with a gold quartz cabachon surrounded by tiny diamonds. The stones were set with prongs, and after 7 years and 3 or 4 missing diamonds, we decided to change the design to more safely secure the stones. I suggested channel setting the stones which eliminated any prongs. We met with them and arrived at a design that we all thought would work for her ring. The final product was stunning. Mari & Misbah took the time to talk us through the options. They were fast, very communicative and totally professional in every way. I also had them replace the shank on my ring at the same time.
