I've got to say that this is definitely my favorite location I've ever visited IN PERSON- especially when I compare to other locations and the staff and busyness.
The staff here are friendly, knowledgeable, and very patient and helpful! They do not judge you on appearance, make you feel rushed, or continuesly ask you if you need help finding anything. Unfortunately that is the case with every other sephora store I've visited EXCEPT this one!
The employees look like they actually enjoy working there, and that they belong there. Many have full face of makeup with hair styled and all. Definitely very approachable and are understanding. I say the later because I came in on day 5 after I had placed an online order for instore pickup, and the policy is 5 days to pickup or its canceled. I showed up 2 mins before they locked the doors and the employee still allowed me inside to pick up my order! That is honestly unheard-of in downtown Seattle.
The only con to this location is that there is no reserved parking or parking lot that's free to park in. But that's to be expected since they're located in downtown. THEY DO have a spot located by the entrance to quickly pull over to pickup your online instore orders though! Just make sure to have your hazards on or bring someone along with who can sit in the car while you...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI've had this experience 3 times so I think it's time for me to write a review for it. The shop closes at 6pm on Sunday. I sometimes arrive there during the last half hour. Yesterday I entered about 5:40. As soon as I was entering, an associate came up to tell me they close "in 15 min" (which was not accurate since it was 5:40). That was ok. But while I was in there, two more associates came up saying the same thing. Apparently it's everyone that I walked by telling me they were about to close with a tone implying that I should leave. There was no service at all. Nobody asked me what I was looking for. Just one after another coming up telling me they were about to close. It was so unwelcoming in there so I just left. And this was the 3rd time this happened to me. Are they not paid or paid less after 6pm? Usually any other shops would allow customers to enter even a couple minutes before close time. Not saying that's a right thing, but this Sephora shop is asking customers to leave like 20 min before close time. I think it's ridiculous. If they hate accepting customers, just shut down all the stores and go...

So here I am, on Google, to make sure whoever is Alicia's supervisor knows how stellar she is. My foundation changed after years of using the same product, and she not only matched me for my new shade, she helped me pick out a concealer--all while teaching me a bunch about application, choosing formulations, etc. As an added bonus, she's just like a super fun, charmismatic person to talk to. I've been a VIB Rouge member for years, but I've really just done online/store pick up most of the time.
