I had an amazing time at the Amazon Meeting Center for the TEDxSeattle 2017 After Party. The view from the second story accomodations was spread open with solid glass walls looking out on the city, and a spectacular view of Amazon's famous greenhouse spheres. The inner lounge provided a cozy nest to rub elbows, even though the space was massive. The dark decor made it feel very closed in and perfect for more open and meaningful conversations. Its 2024 and amazon has vintage water fountains. The archaic style for mouths and hands that hardly ever worked for kids to elders. And the germs 🤢 why why why?! Do better a decade ago.

Venue needs better way finding for events and guests. People traffic was a clusterfk with groups blocking stairs and egress. Very dangerous and inefficient.

Stars for: auditorium seating (comfy, adaptable, apple ply) Clean and accessible bathrooms, well stocked. But where are the period products in restrooms? Not like amazon doesn’t have...

Took someone here for their Covid Vaccine shot. It was very well organized with plenty of people around to point you in the right direction. Free parking in the garage on the north side. As I was dropping someone off and needed to wait, I walked around the area. Beautiful park like settings amongst the tall buildings.
