Seva — Local services in Seattle

What an incredible experience! I was in need of new furniture after a renovation to a transitional/contemporary design and didn’t know where to begin. I happened in to Seva looking for bar stools, as a start, and it was then that I met Jeff, the owner. He offered to come to the house at no charge to get a sense of my needs and design style, and then put an endless amount of time and effort into a presentation of thoughtfully curated pieces and design. Jeff’s passion and dedication to finding the right pieces within your budget, and being mindful of your time, is a rarity these days. Jeff and Whitney take care of all the shipping and delivery details and inspect every piece of furniture before it arrives to your home. Fast forward and my home is thoughtfully curated with pieces that I absolutely love. Nothing commercial, nothing that everyone else has, and everything that I’m proud of. Not only are Jeff and Whitney incredibly talented, they are FUN, and never make you feel intimidated. They bring you in to the process and are teachers of good design. No matter how small or large the project - one item, one room, or a houseful - they put the same time and attention into each project to ensure you are thrilled with the outcome. And they are just incredible people to know and work with. I wish I had another home to decorate to go through the process with them again....

My husband and I were walking past Seva shopping for updating our home and immediately wanted to check out Seva. It was a great experience just walking in the door. The owner Jeff was so friendly yet you could tell he is a true professional and a gifted designer. He took so much time and was so attentive just on the first visit to the store, it was impressive. We had personalize service at our home to help us truly get the feel we wanted. Every room that needed some style felt like a I was walking into a beautiful cosmopolitan hotel after Jeff restyled it for us! It gave us both so much relief and confidence in how well it came together. I read one of the reviewed and Seva is not a lighting store, that reviewer must have the wrong business. It’s an overall design store. We did bedroom, rugs, custom headboard, lighting, chairs, some art etc. All of it takes some time because most of it is custom but way shorter of a time then I expected and Seva always responded within the day. They are top notch and I felt very reasonable prices considering your are getting a high end service with a very high end outcome. Jeff at Seva is amazing. His design vision and dedication to his customers is incredible. This store is not like others in the Seattle area. He is an well-rounded designer that has a brick and mortar location to present different collections to his customers. Jeff has spent numerous days at our house and with us at the store, fine tuning our expectations and design. A wide range of costs from Kasala prices to B and B Italia/Roche Bobois, he dedicates himself to find pieces that are not just a name brand but have amazing design and also are reasonable in cost. As mentioned before, he has been to our house with suitcases of sample colors and materials to make sure it works in different lighting, at different times of the day, for no added cost.
