Cicada Bridal — Local services in Seattle

First off, if I could give more than 5 stars I would. Morgan and the Cicada team are beyond amazing. I came to Cicada because I was looking for a 2 in 1 style dress (a jumpsuit, with a detachable overskirt). Because of my body proportions I had found it difficult to find anything that I liked. I had gone to a few dress fittings but came back feeling horrible as nothing was in my size (I have very very large breasts so many things do not fit me properly). I came in to Cicada with an idea board & a general budget. I distinctly remember Morgan pulling out the different overskirt fabrics that were in budget and I knew immediately that one of them was my fabric. It was everything I wanted. From there it was easy. She drew up an amazing design and both her and Elizabeth had such great input. They were honest, and helpful, addressing my concerns & hyping me up. I received so many compliments on my outfit and it was done so seamlessly that people thought I did a full outfit change rather than just took the overskirt off. The jumpsuit was incredibly comfortable to wear, and I look forward to wearing it on my upcoming honeymoon. I can not imagine having gone anywhere else for such a huge occasion. I can not recommend Cicada, Morgan and Elizabeth enough. Even if you have a tighter budget I would recommend looking in to getting a custom gown, nothing feels more special then something you know is completely...

Wow! This was one of the best experiences of my wedding planning. I worked with Morgan and it was everything I dreamed of! She listened to what I wanted, answered all of my questions and day of when I wanted to make changes to the dress she worked in the back making the changes and let me try it back on same day so I could take the dress home! I would recommend her to every bride I know! I couldn’t have asked for a more fun and relax experience! I was so concerned about alterations and making cuts to the dress and she made it so simple and relax that I wouldn’t help but just have a good time! Overall one of my favorite pre-wedding moments! Morgan is so funny and such a blessing to the wedding community!! I wish I could give her more than 5 stars. I will be adding photos from our wedding soon so you guys can see the lovely job she did on my dress! 10/10 amazing experience and I will be back with friends for their wedding...

I really wanted to like this place but they are discriminating against people with disabilities and they assert that they will continue to refuse service to people like me. Nevermind the fact that they literally get up in peoples cleavages to make alterations yet if I don’t wear a dangerous bandana over my face, that somehow justifies this selective application of made-up science. You see, I am unable to wear a mask or shield for private medical reasons, and they seem to feel righteous about adhering to the mandate with no medical exemptions even though this is not a law backed by any legislation. They are in contempt of federal ADA laws and I have filed a complaint with the ADA accordingly. I am very sad about this because I had believed they were some of the most skilled dress makers around.
