I love farmers markets, being a long time organic grower myself, and being in the heartland of farmers in southern Oregon before moving to Sedona. However like all things in Sedona even farm fresh eggs were $3 more a carton here than they would be in California or Oregon. I also noticed homemade jams are eight to nine dollars for a small pint, traditional homemade jams at farmer's market range between four and six dollars. So was it nice yes, but overpriced. Even the koumas dip was outrageously overpriced. Very good, very flavorful the gal did a great job with it. But $8 for three tiny little containers that you would have as a snack at lunch seemed very pricey. And being a grower myself I always try to make a decent profit but be fair to the locals of our small town. I know were' a tourist town and our profits come from the tourism, but we shouldn't gouge our...
Read moreIt was my first time visiting the market today, as I finally had a Sunday off! The market was a little better than expected, with unique and fresh produce offerings. I would like to thank them for helping me to put fresh food, grown with love, on my table and would hope that they would thank me for helping put food on their table by the...
Read moreGreat little fresh market with an excellent selection of farm to table produce, flowers, and foods. Vendors are lined on two sides of the lot, and you can sample various items as well as purchase prepared foods like delicious quiches and bread, muffins. I purchased fresh eggs, several bars of homemade soaps and could not resist the quiche. I am told this market pops up on the weekends so there will always be a fresh supply of fresh foods and produce and...
