5/22/2017 - My family had the worst experience with this company. Blatant racism and discrimination. We posted the following review and emailed the company. While I appreciate the company taking the time to respond. The response was shallow and did not address the facts as presented. Nor did they express ANY interest in my business! If you disagree with racism and discimination, please do not support this business.

Email (review): Hiked Bell Rock... Magical. Stopped to visit Tlaquepaque Arts and Crafts Village... Quaint. Ate at Oak Creek Brewery & Grill... Yum! Noticed Sedona Jeep Tours (SJT) while walking to the car, doubled back to ask about booking... Me: "Hi, is it too late to book a tour?" SJT Employee: "Yes., we're about to close." Me: "Awe, okay..." I grabbed a brochure and walked away. I looked for the hours of operation so I could see about booking, but didn't see the hours. I had walked about 5 yards when I turned around to ask about the hours. The SJT Employee was watching me, but immediately closed her window and busied herself with something. I walked up anyway since it was literally less than seconds since our exchange. I tapped on the glass. Me: "Hi, I have a question." SDT Employee: "We're closed." Dismissively looked away. Me: " I understand." Window still closed. "I just have a question." SDT: "What's the question?" Window still closed. Me: "You're not going to open the window?SDT Employee: "No, I'm leaving. We're closed." Me: "Wow, really?" I was shocked. Is this what black people are experiencing all over America? Is this really happening to me??? I put the brochure down and walked away. My phone had 5:18pm. I got in my car with my sisters and told them what happened. We looked online to see the hours of operation are advertised as 8am to 8pm. My sister called the number to inquire about booking and was told the last tour is booked at 6pm. Can you believe it??? Terrible!

If I could give a negative star rating, I would. It is very disturbing to experience blatant racism and discrimination in 2017.

When you are a business everyone should be treated equally according to the color of their money that they choose to spend with you.

Whoever was working today at the location and time mentioned above is sadly stealing money out of your profits... Response from Sedona Jeep Tours:

Our company takes these unsatisfactory or unacceptable situations very seriously. We apologize for your unpleasant experience with Sedona Offroad Adventures at our booth location. Our employee should have performed her closing procedures more accurately. She was more involved with leaving and being on her personal time. We have taken the necessary steps to a resolution as some actions are not congruent with our family oriented principles.

We double checked the website and ours shows our uptown store location is open from 8:00am to 7:00pm to our reservation hours, 7:00am to 7:00pm to our off location email department. Our booth location has no publication of our hours as they vary by season.

Thank you, Roy Warner Sedona...

First of all, Sedona is a beautiful place and there are a lot of people who know this so getting to the place was delayed. That being said, it is totally worth it as my girlfriend and I were driving up from Phoenix to ride the trails on a Honda Talon. I called and let them know that I was stuck in traffic and they were very understanding and gracious. We got to their headquarters and were greeted as friends more than customers. We were given all our paperwork, paid our insurances, and deposit then were given an app for my phone as well as a paper map. From there, we were on the way. The trails were easy to get to, I performed the outlaw trail up and back, the ranch loop, and diamond gulch before heading back from my four hour tour. On the way back more traffic and we were a little late getting in, the guys were very understanding and we took off on our next adventure. Highly recommend this for people who like a more laid back environment and...

Initially I thought the price for this tour seemed a little expensive and almost didn't do it. I was 100% wrong! Our tour guide was a reitred outdoorsman who had nothing but passion for his job. He was extremely knowledgeable and had tons of facts about historical points along the trail. The trail itself was absolutely amazing! You go 2000 sq feet of elevation and the views you get are gorgeous. Pictures do not do it justice, this tour is worth every penny and I would do the exact same tour if I went back to Sedona. One word of caution. It can get a little chilly if you're going in the evening when the sunsets so carry a sweater. Also the ride is bumpy and rough at times. I enjoyed it and was fun but it you have a bad back or neck pain I'd imagine it would be quite uncomfortable. Enjoy the ride and take lots of pictures!

An experience I’ll never forget. This tour was a blast first of all. Bumping around in the mountains, awesome! Secondly, it was incredibly beautiful. I cannot express the joy in my soul from this experience. It is so enriching to look at the earth without power lines and houses on the way and see how beautiful it is. I was simply in awe. Lastly, it was educational and mentally enriching. Our guide taught us about the plants and wildlife around. His words were, “By the end of this, trip you could survive out here.” I cannot get over how much I enjoyed this experience. Go here, and be reminded of the glory of creation.

Our guide, Roman, was great and was full of stories and info about Sedona. We did the private Colorado Plateau Tour (two adults, a teen, and two younger kids), which was basically up Schnebly Hill Rd to the main overlook and back. I took off a star because the ride was slower and rougher than it should have been. An old Hummer at less than half capacity makes for a poorly tuned suspension. The smaller jeeps (that kept passing us) where clearly getting a better ride. The rough ride was fun for the first 20 minutes, but got pretty old after a couple of hours.
