Aerie — Local services in Severn

i usually love aerie, and i’ve never had an experience this poor. but i was shopping for a specific bra while also browsing the store. during that time i was followed by numerous employees, all who watched me like a hawk throughout the store. and when i went to checkout (because i bought this bra) i noticed there were 3-4 employees huddled by the entrance to the store, talking to a security guard, all looking/gesturing towards me. i have never felt so uncomfortable in a store. and i doubt i will visit this...

Almost every Aerie I've been to has had friendly employees but one associate here was beyond amazing in helping me get "long" 7/8 leggings as they are not yet available in that length in store. Also she encouraged a purchase that I had no idea what size to get (most of my clothes are aerie but this was out the box for me) and it was perfect. I wish I remembered her name but she has dark hair and I think glasses. Thank you so much!! I was worried this outfit would look horrible but her encouragement...

Absolutely zero customer service this afternoon, not to mention a greeting. I couldn't find my size (medium) on a stacked table display and rather than help, the store associate ignored me and clearly exhibited a nasty attitude because she had to fix the display. I stopped shopping and left with nothing. As a first time shopper, the lack of assistance and feeling unwelcome turned me off to the shop completely. Even as a former retail employee, I cannot relate to this type...
