If you want to have your integrity insulted by horrible employees and throw your money away on clothing that won't last a day... then this place is for you!! Absolutely the worst shopping experience and customer service experience I have ever had. EVER. I'm a man and I hate shopping and paying high prices for clothes so I thought that this would be a good place to get some clothes from work. My family has done business with hammers (clinton location) for decades. Most of my clothes as a kid came from hammers and never had any customer service problems (though most of my clothes zippers and buttons fell off soon after mom had bought them). I recently bought three pairs of jeans at this establishment and as soon as I got them home and tried them on, all the buttons fell off and one pair was torn in the back. I was able to fix the buttons with pliers but I wanted to just exchange the pair that had a tear in them. I returned within the week return period to exchange them with my receipt and all the tags. I got called a liar by several of the employees for bringing them in stating that they "never carried this type of jeans before" and I was interrogated (literally) about where I found them at and who i bought them from. They literally treated me like I was some sort of criminal. I went through all of this to the point of when I had got ready to exchange when a sorry excuse for a manager came up and finally stated that they had in fact carried these jeans but she wouldn't exchange them because "they had been worn and had a hole in it". She then went on to say that I didn't tell them that they were torn on the phone. I had NEVER CALLED THEM!!! I was never rude and I never got cross with them which I regret. If I had come in there and acted like some kind of idiot and talked down to them I might understand. I treat people the way I want to be treated, but these people do not deserve it. Absolutely horrible people and a horrible store. All of you vacationers that come here STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!! You'd literally be better off going to Wal-Mart (I cannot believe i'm saying that). These people that run this place are the worst type of people and contribute literally nothing to society. I'm usually a fan of promoting family owned businesses but this place doesn't deserve to be in business. A bunch of slum lords selling junk in a dirty dingy looking establishment. Here's a tip to hammers... I don't really care that you would not honor your return policy, but do not call me a liar or anyone else a liar for that matter. I can promise you that you've lost three families worth of business and everyone they know as well. Anyone else who is reading this I would say to you as well to stay away from this place if you value your hard earned money. But if you're into throwing money away and being insulted by surly low life scum of the earth people then maybe this is the...

Carhartt EVERYthing for literally 1/5 of retail, Wrangler, RipStop, and that's just the corner of the store I very quickly found my pants size in and left. Theres a whole 3/4 of the building I didn't even look at that was overstocked with excellent prices I'm sure...
It's an outlet store that sells the irregular, slightly askew, damaged, tiny-red-dot-on-corner etc clothing that for one reason or another doesn't quite pass the QC dept on the way from the manufacturer to the designer specialty store that charges $79.99-$159.99 a pair for the flame retardant Carhartt jumpsuit. I got 2 pair of ripstop pants for $12.99ea, Carhartt carpenter pants for $24.99 and t shirts were $3.88... I gotta head back and gradually fill my wardrobe. Check it out if your In The area....
Read moreOkay place, staff not overly nice. Went in to shop before leaving the area. Took my 3 yr old and 7 yr old in to use the restroom. I’m not the type of person to take advantage of an establishment for restroom purposes but if I’m going into shop and spend money I expect to have a restroom to use if needed. Found that they claim to not have a restroom, which is illegal in the stare of TN per the ally law. This is not a COVID thing it’s like this anytime you go into hammers as another person mentioned. Instead of shopping we left and found another place of business with a restroom. After this with little ones as many of you understand we said said forget it and ended up heading on out of town. Possibly missed a sale Hammers! If your employees are to lazy or grossed out to clean a restroom, hire a cleaning staff to come...
