I have never had a bad experience at Sevier Plaza. Although the employees at Ollie's tend to follow me around I assume because they think I am a threat due to my rugged good looks and gentlemanly charm. (Or my tattoos 🤷🏼♂️) In reality, I just think they take their jobs a little to serious trying to catch shoplifters. The other two stores I frequent are Rose's & Tractor Supply. Prices are great at Ollie's & Rose's. TSC prices are competitive. Very ample parking. Location keeps you out of the hubbub of a busy tourist town. Exiting to the left (south hwy 441/Main St) can be a nightmare. Ask anyone that's ever been there during rush hour (3p-6p weekdays) and I believe they would say the same. Another good point of interest is Hardee's. The issue with there is their drive thru. Overall though, it's a nice place. Well lit at night, and safe being located just down the street from the Sevier County Courthouse and Sheriff's Dept and across the road from CO-OP. If you know anything about smaller towns, then you know CO-OP is a focal point, and is used by the county (and maybe the city as well) to fuel their vehicles.
I'll definitely visit again...and feel safe...
