Bay Traders True Value — Local services in Seward

I am here from Pensacola Florida visiting for Christmas. Went into the store to see if I can find a little bit more warmer clothes for my grandchildren to play in the snow since we are from Florida and we don't really have to right wardrobe for the snow. very nice people they were even free that day for children which was absolutely awesome and I was able to find a couple Christmas shirts as well staff was very pleasant and sweet enjoyed my shopping. It's an ok thrift store and hardware store, not much good stuff to find but the lady at the counter didn't look happy to help us and it makes it really uncomfortable shopping here when seeing signs all over the walls saying "smile shoplifters your on camera" or "shoplifters will be prosecuted to the extend". I don't steal or ever have thoughts of it since Its my first time visiting alaska. They should just have security guarding...

This store is awesome. They have everything you might need for fishing, camping, clothing, hardware, paint, rope, knives, charters, bait, boots, gloves, gardening supply, pet supply, touristy stuff, plumbing, tools... there's just too much to list it all. I love this place and would rather visit here then any gift...
