The owner of this store is so nice and amazing! Highly recommend visiting here if you are ever in Seward. My wife and I ( I am in a wheelchair) went store to store to check out the town and wait while our hotel room was getting ready. Her store was up a couple steps and there was no ramp close to the store, and there were no signs on the front of the store saying "ramp in back" or "call for assistance" nothing. The city really needs to put a ramp on the corner closets to her storefront on either side of the entrance (there is space), or at the very least if cost is a factor, put a sign that says, "ramp access in the back". We stayed at the Breeze inn and that is when I saw the flat surface that gave access to the platform to her store. A huge inconvenience for the elderly and disabled folks, but again if cost is an issue then I would highly suggest that option. My initial experience with this store was good. It was clean and had a nice selection of items. The reason for my one star review is that I was overcharged for an item. I purchased dog treat that clearly had a price tag of $7.95. However, I was charged $33.95. I didn’t realize the issue at the time of the transaction or I would have not purchased.

Cliff, In regard to your response, i appreciate your willingness to allow me to return the item. Unfortunately, the cost to ship the item back to you from the Midwest would not make it worth it. One of the best shopping places in Seward! Prices are reasonable and staff is friendly. They have a great variety of Alaska made products, outdoor equipment, and fun souvenirs. I didn't find cheap tacky products here, only the good quality stuff! This place really cares about their customers too. After returning home to the lower 48 after my vacation, I made a purchase online. There was an error with my order and they went above and beyond to make it right.
