This store always feels dirty compared to the other Gabes stores that I go to. I've never been to a place where no one is smiling, and it seems like nobody who is there even wants to be working there! guess it goes to show the younger generations work mentality. You may find a manager that is helpful however the manager i was talking to was anything but friendly. The other day i was shopping for my grandfather and tried asking the manager a question but she was too busy gossiping to a coworker to even acknowledge my existence and once she finally had the time to spare she turned around and kept being rude to me and kept trying to walk away as if me asking a question was somehow putting her day to ruin. Once i finally had enough and confronted her she goes on to claim that she's been here for years and that's how she has always ran her store and that i'm more than welcome to go to a different store to find what i'm looking for!!! Even when i tried to check out the lines are 20 minutes long because there were only 2 cashiers. This location has really gone down if thats how employees treat their most...
Read moreThe only thing good about this store is SOME of the prices. Went in yesterday, and it was a complete DISASTER. Clothes and merchandise all over the floor, nothing in the right spot. There were kids running around the store that wasn't even fully clothed. My 16 year old daughter wanted to try on a shirt, and the rude woman that works back there told her to change in the middle of the isleway bc she was closed. She was standing 5 feet from a changing room that my daughter could have used. DEFINITELY not customer friendly. After I was appalled by her answer, the woman continued to stay back IN the dressing rooms area and continued to work. The store wasn't even close to being closed, and the lady definitely could have opened a door real quick to let my daughter try one 1 shirt. Not sure of her name but she was an older lady thay wore a mask. Gabes definitely needs to get some more customer friendly employees and manage this store better. Even the cashier was semi rude, throwing my merchandise onto the counter when leaving and muttering something as I told her to...
Read moreThey had a lot of great merchandise. Very good prices for the most part. Only detractor, clothing departments were a total shambles. Racks were marked as particular sizes in this area of rack. And the majority of things I looked at were way out of the range marked for that area. Xl in with small, and vise versa. Jeans in with shirts. And not just a smattering of them. Groups of them mixed in. Have to say that Goodwill does a better job of keeping their clothes sorted by size. So if you have hours of time to kill,(which we did the day I went there), and don't mind hunting through all the racks for something. This is a great place. If you are short on time and trying to find something particular. You'll probably run out of time before you find it.
With that said we did find a ton of great items at really good prices.
It it were more organized we would have probably spent more $$ on items than time looking for them.
Literally ran out of time to go through every rack...
